We purchased a Schwinn IC4 indoor cycling bike from 360 Fitness Superstore and paid additional fee to have them assemble and inspect the bike before shipping. Their promise was that the bike should "just work" since they inspected it thoroughly in the shop and made sure everything worked perfectly before shipping it to the customers. However, upon using it, we realized it had a couple of issues so we contacted the store and scheduled a tech appointment. The tech was very helpful and stayed for more than 1 hour for troubleshooting. In the end, we learned there were at least two issues:
1. The bike wasn't calibrated so that's why the resistance level couldn't be adjusted (fixed on the spot)
2. The speed censor is bad (required parts to be mailed before fixing can happen)

Now we need to wait for Schwinn to mail us parts and to schedule another tech appointment with 360. Not sure how long this process is going to take. We didn't expect any of the issues to exist at the first place though with 360's inspection promise and that's one of the reasons we paid the additional fee, only to receive an unusable bike.

We’ve had good success purchasing equipment from the San Rafael location. Demian was extremely knowledgeable, in helping us in setting up a home gym, for our entire family to use!

I first found out about this place from my brother. I trust his judgment on where he shops for quality stuff. I had the best experience here. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable about everything. They answer all my questions and told me about the treadmills they had. I was able to try the different treadmills and that was great! I was able to get the best treadmill that I love! The said delivery was about 10 days out. They ended up delivering much earlier, because of a cancellation. The guys who set it up were great! All around great service!

Worst customer experience. The sales person did not know about the price. I asked for the curl bar. The price was given 199, then 99 then 129$. He was extremely rude. Worst decision to step into his store.

I had been wanting a Treadmill for a long time and I finally made it into the Walnut Creek store to browse. I had a cpl Treads in mind but I wasn’t 100% sure which one would be best for me. I was very impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable they were. They took their time with me and answered all of my questions. I ended up purchasing a Treadmill that they delivered and installed at my home and I absolutely love it! If I end up adding to my home gym I will definitely be going back to them.

Great experience. Matt was knowledgeable and did not try to upsell my wife and I when were buying weights for our home gym. Nice selection of bumpers, bars, racks and other fitness stuff at fair prices. Check them out!

Hubs and I happen to be in Walnut Creek. So we dropped on into the shop to check out the fitness equipment and look for a V grip to use for cable weight systems.

The shop had its own parking lot which was super convenient. As we walked in, the folks sitting behind the desk greeted us and were helpful. The shop was stocked with a great number of various brand name gymn quality weight machines, treadmills, stair steppers, row machines, fitness bicycles, Nordic machines, free weights, and accessories. Score on the V grip. The staff showed us two kinds, an aluminum one as well as a heavier steel one.

Don't use this company for servicing older equipment. Unfortunately I decided to use them for a service call to come to my home and assess my Stairmaster 4600 PT (older but very high quality). Their fee was $249 and they gave me all the assurances they'd assess, then if parts are needed they'd buy and come back to repair (for an added $99/hr + parts). The guys that did the assessment were great (otherwise this would be 1 star). They felt confident that by replacing 1 very common part the machine would be fully functioning. They told me their service manager would get back to me soon. A few days went by so I finally called, and the story I got was that the part wasn't supplied by the primary company any longer (of course, as it's an older model) - and that they only work through the primary company for parts. It was pretty obvious what the goal was when she tried to steer me toward buying new equipment.

I called Gym Doctors in Hayward and they told me that's a common approach to selling new equipment (sadly). The part is widely available (via 3rd party sellers) as my equipment is very common! Furthermore, they'd have come to my house for $189. So had I gone with them, I'd be done (they'd happily order the part and have come back to replace it). When on the phone with 360 Fitness I had to press to get any help - they sent me the website for the manual and left me to order the part from a 3rd party. It's frustrating as they pushed all the risk on me for ordering the correct part, and I know nothing about these machines! They said they'd come back and install it for me if I got it (for the 99/hr).

Bottom line: if you need any servicing, do yourself a favor and call Gym Doctors. They sounded great on the phone. I might just pay up the additional $189 and start over again with them. I can pretty much guarantee that 360 Fitness isn't even thinking about me anymore now that they know I'm not going to buy new equipment.
