I worked with Coach Rousey for 2.5 years (Nov. 2021 till July 2024) as we focused on my long term marathon goals. One of the most valuable things was having another set of eyes on my stats and the weekly feed back that was given. Another key plus was the accountability to the plan, especially accountability to keeping easy runs easy, rest days, and knowing when an extra rest day might be beneficial. Lastly, he taught me the value of consistency, something that will help me on the many miles ahead.

Coach Rousey is a knowledgeable and attentive coach. I contacted him, discussed goals, health history, and fitness. He made a custom running plan for me. He was able to tweak my plan according to my physical and scheduling needs. I had not done any distance running in a very long time and he was able to get me to my goal of the Hatcher Pass Marathon. I finished strong, and he was there cheering me on the whole way!

Coach Rousey helped train one of my sons with great success. This despite us living in different states. The two met for regular calls, tracked progress through uploads from my sons' Garmin watch, worked on weekly workout planning and helped coach my son on how to handle race day pressures.
