David has been my trainer for several years. When I was first looking for a personal trainer, I wanted someone who could plan workouts for me, make sure my form was right, and keep me consistent and accountable. Not only does David give you a killer work out, but he tries to work with your schedule as much as possible so you get consistent gym time every week.
David also takes the time to understand what your goals are and creates a training program to help you meet those goals. He'll ask you what your current lifestyle looks like (what do you eat, how much protein do you get in a day, etc.) and make suggestions along the way.
I am way more fit and so much stronger after training with David. In 2018, I had trouble lifting 150 lbs. Now in 2024, I hit a PR of 265 lbs.

Look no further if you are in need of a personal trainer! I’ve known David for a while now, as his barber and as my personal trainer. Working in the barber industry, i noticed how personal health can be neglected with bad eating habits due to long hours of cutting hair. I believed signing up to a gym had kick start a healthier lifestyle but i had days falling short of work-outs, sometimes visiting more cardio machines. I felt healthier but also felt I lacked strength training and guidance. Luckily for me David was a regular at the shop, I became more motivated as we talked about the importance of fitness goals and took up on an offer for a consultation to his personal training. The day I went to visit David for a consultation I became more aware of my fitness strengths and weakness. David had me on a program that fit my schedule and I saw results. I started training with David in late 2021. I largely wanted a strong base of strength for long term health and have the skills necessary to maintain the strength. I decided it was prudent to finally begin the journey and not use "COVID delays" as an excuse. My previous experience in exercise was a mostly daily 15 mile bike rides during lockdown so I had a base of cardio. Personally, I thought my journey would be difficult with stagnant progress and difficulty but David understands the process and is encouraging but not aggressive and pushy. The progress was immediately apparent. Through COVID I kept up exercise but hit a stopping point. After training with David, my mind was clearer and my sleep was better. My stamina improved and my cycling (in particular climbing) was incredible. Now I had an improved, rigid, daily routine and I felt more prepared for my day.
Through David's guidance and persistence, I was able to achieve great personal records through the three basic lifts. I felt more comfortable with my body and was able to use my strength for tasks often, to noticeable effect. David helped me have confidence in my skills at the gym through his simple cyclic lift regimens with "add on" exercises to top off the exercise. The self improvement and health benefits are of course a plus! Would recommend anyone to train with David at all skill levels. Attached my recent PRs! 🙂

If I am completely honest with myself, Coach David is probably one of the best things/people have happened in my life. I’m extremely grateful for his professionalism, dedication, hard work, authenticity, expertise, honesty, transparency, understanding, and empowerment! I have been working with him since 2016, and I have followed him to every single of his practice locations, from a complete new beginner in weight training to a participant in an informal powerlifting meet (twice)! From losing 10-20 lbs (with his help) to gaining 40 lbs (due to medical conditions and other circumstances), he has always been there and never given up on me on this journey! David is indeed one of the best things/people that I have had in life 💓 I have referred friends to David, and the feedback has always been incredible! Personal training with David over the past year and half has been a great journey. He’s dedicated to making his clients feel their best while pushing them into new workout limits! I’m a busy mom of 3 and I’ve noticed I’ve gotten much stronger since working out with him. “Deadlifting” 205 pounds I never would have imagined I’d be able to( thank you David ) Carrying a car seat and stroller in and out of my car multiple times a day has gotten a lot easier. I also had to bring my 7 month old son and my 8 year old with me to workout and he’s so good with the kids entertaining them while I’m working out. My daughter loves to come with me to see him. Also with a busy schedule he’s been able to accommodate me in short notice ect. I highly recommend you schedule a workout session with him and see what you’re missing out !
