Nekia created community by sharing her story of healing and working with students. I appreciated the healing experience of listening to everyone in the Free to Dream workshop playing an instrument: gong, hand drum, rattles, crystal singing bowls. She reminded us about setting intentions and practicing in community.

Just attended the SoundBath offered by Nekia at Armando Luna's Yoga studio in Bayview SF. This experience was non invasive and not rigid but i felt deeply touched and cleansed. She used singing bowls, assorted ancient African seed shakers, wind chimes, rain sticks, and orisa chants to help us release toxins and negative energies. We laid and we recieved the sounds as it cleansed our chakras. She gave us tuning forks to target areas that needed release. It was a unique experience having like a swaggy loop rooted hip hop that she made with the looper on deck. I want to do it again.
