Good sandwiches. Better than Zias or Ikes or Mr. Pickles, which I hate to say because Nugget is a chain.

The bread is the perfect amount of flavor and holds up while soaking up flavor. Solid pesto, but the chicken was a little springy, similar to Le Boulangers pesto chicken. The sandwich did feel very heavy, though, so I personally would have preferred tomato slices in the sandwich instead of a tomato pesto.

The sandwich also took a fair bit of time, but they did have a lot of orders.

Been shopping here for years. Love the selection. Butcher is great, love the bakery, their croissants are not great but for US standards I guess it’s ok. Their produce is unbeatable, I prefer it over the farmers market. They care for the community and their employees. The prices are a little hefty but with the offering I think it’s justified. Love how they open early and close late. Overall love you Nugget!

Store is constantly busy. Produce is mostly fresh. Aisles are very narrow for one shopping cart, let alone two. This is the only location I have to stand to the side to let another shopper pass in the aisles. Much prefer other Nugget locations for shopping comfort.

This store has single-handedly fueled my cheese obsession. The cheesemongers are passionate about cheese and so knowledgeable about their cheese selection and about cheese in general. I have come many times cheeseless and bearing cheese questions, and they always point me in the right direction and remedy my cheeselessness.

We're fortunate to have not one, but two Nugget Markets in Davis. We call them 'Big Nugget' and 'Little Nugget' and shop both stores regularly.

They have everything the serious gourmet requires, from butcher to fish monger, green grocer, deli, cheese monger, wine and spirits, flowers, and last but certainly not least, bakery.

Nugget stores are exceptionally clean, thoughtfully designed and very attractive architecturally. We like the fact that they are a local business - not a Wall Street corporation.

The people who work at both Nuggets are friendly and helpful. They make it easy to make Nugget our #1 shopping destination.

Easily the best and most consistent customer service of any grocery store I have ever frequented. It can be a bit pricey but their selections are well curated. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than one minute in line. Definitely check out their “secret sales” on the weekends!

EDIT: this is kind of a specific request but when I am having a bad day I remember that my favorite local grocer carries Great Notion beverages, which brings me joy. but I’ve noticed that the person doing the ordering must be a fan of sours, and I think we may need to reconsider a much more appropriate ratio of Beer to Sour. I know the shelf space is limited so sometimes I even buy sours just to make sure they go directly into the trash and open up shelf space for more beer. That is a joke. But for every day that more beer is not added I will donate $1000 to Donald Trump. I’ve started a Facebook group called Nugget Beer Drinkers and as soon as the first person joins I bet we will all agree on this very, very serious issue.
