Heavenly. Nothing like slipping from your bed in the morning into a bathwater warm pool and swimming a few laps, then soaking in a hot or hotter pool while you contemplate the day. Then help yourself to a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit (ripe, local?), yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, and delicious coffee. The corner room (#4) with kitchenette was spacious and had room to eat inside, but I chose to eat at the cafe table outside my door. Generous towel supply, spa robes, slippers make it easy to move between public and private spaces. The hotel is in a great location (if you have a car - which is a necessity). I did a day of hiking at Joshua Tree, another at Indian Canyons, explored Palm Springs and took the Tramway to the top of Mt. San Jacinto. The Cabot's Pueblo Museum is just around the corner and not to be missed. There are some great little restaurants in Desert Hot Springs, and Palm Springs is full of delicious food. But after all that exploring, it's blissful to come back to the Spring and slide back into the slippery mineral waters of the pools and the peaceful environment. I splurged on a massage one day. Simply heavenly. Very friendly and accommodating to a single traveler. This is my new favorite place. I'm already planning my return.

My husband, daughter, and myself, stayed in the courtyard suite. We enjoyed the private soaking tub! Three public mineral water pools. Nicely maintained lawn. Staff were very friendly. Good morning coffee and fresh fruit. We will come back here again. And we highly recommend this resort.

The pool and spas are wonderful. There was no heavy chlorine smell to the water. The bed was very comfy. The gardens are beautiful. Overnight was quiet. We received a nice buffet breakfast. We did not try the spa services, but heard good reviews from the locals.

Relaxing experience and staff was amazing. |Rooms have comfy beds. Even when it was open to the public for a Saturday event, there was always a moment to soak alone. Several soaking zones to enjoy. Beautiful property. |We’ll be back. Thank you!

I had such an amazing time at Mountain View Suite plus all the pools and sauna. My amazing girlfriend is now moving to something more serious after the stay. Completely worth it :)||The water is quite hot, the property quite silent. Staff is very friendly. You can use the facilities the whole day of your checkin and checkout days.

Very nice intimate spa with 3 pools, saunas, massages lounge chairs and quality linens. The owner has paid attention to all the details making this place a very peaceful and relaxing place to soak in the mineral waters and relax in a zen environment. I can't wait to go back again.

I have been meaning to write this review since I think September of last year - I actually can’t remember when we went actually maybe it was a March or April 2024. Regardless of what month or year it was we had an incredible, magical, very healing time at this very precious healing place. ||Everyone - from the staff, the owners, the therapists - was incredibly kind, helpful, & sensitive to the fact that I was bringing with me a very reluctant human & special guest aka my father… who suffers from polymyalgia rheumatica among other things - but you wouldn’t know it to talk to him. ||Anyway, I had to trick him into thinking it was a special trip for me; when, in fact, myself, the staff and owners all were working together behind the scenes to get him into the healing pools (without me having to push him in & hold him down.) ||All went according to plan - mostly thanks to the kind, uncomplicated people of the Springs Resort. ||And let me tell you, those healing waters work. The second day he even decided ON HIS OWN to get A MASSAGE. I cannot express what kind of miracle that is. I’m talking about a person so stubborn & skeptical, they are still not convinced drinking water is beneficial for one’s health… They are a very precious breed of men, these guys, but for the love of all things holy they are very difficult to help. ||Anyway, if you have a stubborn old man dad who you can’t get to drink water or literally do anything that might actually be good for his health - this is the place to take him. No over-the-top gushy concierge. Just straightforward, kind people. And the resort is beautiful. ||Also, Andrew, who gave my father the massage, might be an angel on this earth. We kept in touch (I actually managed to track him down on Facebook ) & we later conspired to get my dad one more massage - Andrew drove all the way to my parents home & it wasn’t on his way, etc. (Andrew is mostly retired and really only went to offer my dad another massage out of the goodness of his heart & bc I begged him to try.) ||I’d hoped my dad would continue to visit the springs and receive massage from Andrew, who he really bonded & connected with — they are both old athletes & immigrants & love their dogs — but left to his own devices, the Old Man of the Sea is back to his old ways… I know the healing springs & Andrew’s kindness, in particular, really helped him, even though I couldnt get him to make it a regular thing. ||And the kind staff & owners were so supportive of this desperate daughters attempt to help her precious dad experience some physical relief… so from my heartthank you. ||And I’m sorry it took me so long to finally write this review! I promised to do this however many moons ago. But I didn’t forget, and I will never forget your kindness to me & the worlds most stubborn old man of the Sea. (And please excuse all typos, or anything that was poorly communicated - typing on my phone!) 🙏🌼❤️🌸🙏🌸🌼💜🌝💙💛🙏🌼🌸🌼🙏🙏🌈🙏

Took the family on our first trip to experience the water, but the stay was disappointing. What was advertised as a “villa” turned out to be a basic 2-bedroom apartment-style building, infested with mosquitos and located offsite. It had a regular bathroom—no luxurious indoor or outdoor tub as most villas has. Using any hotel facilities required an 6 minute walk or drive, defeating the purpose of staying at a “hot spring hotel.”|The water quality was ok, smell of the heavy choline was a turn off so we didn’t stay too long after one try..||The property felt more like a small motel with several spas and pools (indoor and outdoor) available 24/7. While the landscape was beautiful, the steep roads and lack of lighting made it unsafe and inconvenient to reach the sauna or explore at night. Staff were gone after 9 PM, and the bathrooms were poorly stocked, with empty or unfilled toiletries.||Breakfast, served in the main building, was underwhelming: dry dark bread, cold boiled eggs, fruit, and instant oatmeal—laid out on a sad-looking table with very few choices. No restaurant in resort. Limited food options in the area meant relying on Uber, which was significantly more expensive due to the remote location.||The villa seems designed more for larger families or travelers with pets, has outdoor patio and small bbq grill so it might not be the best choice for couples who wish to stay close to the pool. Spa services were decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but overall, the experience fell far short of expectations.
