Had an amazing experience! Elaine the owner is a lovely lady and helped me so much. Came in with lots of questions and not really being able to breathe. She let me try some silver colloids in a nebulizer. (For free) It help me so much. Left with lots of goodie’s and able to breathe. ❤️

Elaine, the owner, is a phenomenal, caring, and knowledgeable individual. She was able to answer all of my questions and made suggestions based on my needs rather than profit margin. On two occasions, her first suggestion was a product on sale. I told her up front that we were visiting from out of town; however, she gave me the attention I believe she would extend to a long-time customer. I was so impressed that my husband and I returned two days after our first purchase to pick up another item. Tomorrow, we will drive to Reno again, and I have a short list of products to pick up from Elaine. We spend 2-4 weeks every summer in the Lake Tahoe area, and The Herb Lady will definitely be one of our first stops once we are settled in.

Went in a couple days ago and had an incredibly awkward experience with the young woman. She had to make it known to me that she had “extensive” knowledge of herbs and completely disregarded my search for a specific herb because it didn’t have the benefits of what I needed it for, not realizing I’m Native American using it in a medicine bag. Very condescending and made for a really awkward experience. I couldn’t wait to get out of there fast enough.

You know they do have some pretty good stuff here but the customer service is definitely lacking. They only sell herbs in capsules, no loose-leaf herbs, which was my main disappointment. The ambiance and customer service were pretty much non-existent. Although the ladies seemed willing to answer questions, they weren't exactly what I would call pleasant. They have a nice array of items and some stuff of definite interest, but not someplace I would spend a lot of time in.
