First time Brazilian Sugar wax ever in life. Never been waxed ever either. I was very very nervous and shy about it. Dr Alexandra Porter made me feel soo very comfortable and at ease with the process, she was very vocal and went at my pace. She made this first time nerve wrecking experience awesome. Love her attentiveness. I definitely will be coming back!

The BEST first time experience for any and all sugar waxing. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Porter and the girls with their relaxing approach to waxing, from the minute I come in I never feel rushed. Through the process there is breathing techniques and validation of any and all feelings. My first time was many years ago, and after recently trying a different place that heavily marketed on my socials a “free and easy first time”, that place was anything but, my feelings were invalidated in such a vulnerable space that I was shaken up a bit. I remembered how much I enjoyed my time here and was able to reach out to the girls to schedule even when their bookings were full! Coming back as my first time in a while made it feel so distinct and was worth it in every aspect. Trust me when I say your body is not free and no place should rely on free and easy or fast because everyone has their own needs on that waxing table. Hope this helps you to come try it!!!

This place is amazing! From the beautiful office to the amazing Dr. Porter. I had my first Brazilian wax and was nurvous about the whole process, from the fact that she had to see every inch of my who-ha, and the fact that I am 36 years old, never waxed and always shaved, some of these hairs were attached to my soul. But she put me incredibly at ease and explained the whole process as she went along. She was open for breaks if any were needed, helped with breathing during the salty hairs, and amazingly attentive. I made another appt and even threw my armpits in there for next time. Definitely a place I am happy to have found.

Dr. Porter was incredible and did such a thorough and fantastic job! She really explained the sugaring process and I feel super happy with my results. Will definitely be returning regularly and I would recommend Sugar Me Love to everyone. As someone who had previously only been waxed I thought the sugaring process was much less painful and overall a far better experience. 10/10

Have been looking for a sugaring place in Tucson and I won’t go anywhere else after trying Sugar Me Love! Dr. Porter is extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the whole sugaring process. She takes her time and made sure I was comfortable before removing any piece. I originally went in for a bikini sugaring but decided to do a Brazilian since Dr. Porter was so amazing! I am coming back for my maintenance and would recommend to anyone. It was slightly painful, but nothing I wasn’t expecting! Dr. Porter made sure to remove all hairs and even applied some soothing oils after. She is super sweet!

truly so happy I found this place! I’m visiting from out of town and I am so lucky that I came across Sugar Me Love. Dr. Porter is an expert at sugaring Brazilian and it was not as painful as it usually is for me. She really takes her time and educates you on your hair growth/sugaring/etc. We had great conversation and I felt so encouraged afterwards. Also want to note Gypsy sugared my upper lip and did a fabulous job as well. I would highly recommend this place!

Booked my first service at this salon with Gypsy based on her 5 star review in the online booking system. Was really nervous about trying a new place and the service as it had been months since my last service in my home country.

I was greeted by one of the owners who eagerly engaged in a discussion about my roadtrip, which immediately made me feel comfortable in the space. There are beautiful works of art hanging in the hallways and spa rooms which really contribute to the overall serene atmosphere.

Gypsy has an amazingly calm personality and really put me at ease as soon as I met her. There was already very relaxing music playing in the room but she offered to change it based on my preferences. She checked in with me often during the service, making sure everything was to my satisfaction. I really appreciated her body affirming/positive language as she requested I shift positions - it really helped reduce any self-consciousness I started out with. Finally, as I'd originally had trouble with the online booking system, Gypsy was kind enough to check whether another practitioner would be able to complete an add-on service before I left

I was also helped by another practitioner, Kate, at the front desk who walked me through all the products available for in-grown hairs, etc. We also shared a few good laughs and talking to her was a great send-off from an absolutely amazing experience!!
