I have been going to NatureMedica for over 20 years. Dr Judy Gianni first helped me dissolve two lungs full of pulmonary embolisms using enzymes. She has also helped me recover from six total joint replacements (my six-pack) using multiple supplements. My recover times were a fraction of the normal times. She has also helped me keep my hormones in balance all of these years. I have yet to contract covid due to her excellent preventive protocol.

I’ve been going to these offices for over a year now and my experience is very mixed.

When am actually there, I feel very comfortable and taken care of. The staff is friendly and warm, and my appointments feel like my doctor truly listens to me. This is the first time I’ve been heard so this is a huge win! The blood draws and other IV work I’ve had done there has been relatively painless (especially in comparison to some other offices I’ve been to). The waiting room, doctor’s offices, and treatment rooms are comfortable and relaxing.

The wait times before actually getting back to the room with the doctor is frequently 20+ minutes which is frustrating because you pay for a certain amount of time like 1hr appointment, 30 minute, etc.

My biggest complaint and the main reason for the less stars is lack of communication. I frequently call about supplements I need to order or appointments I need to make and it takes a handful of calls on my end PLUS voicemails before 1. I get a call back or 2. Someone picks up the phone while it’s ringing. It feels like the front office AND the supplement office is possibly disorganized or understaffed. My most frequent issues have been with the ordering supplements side of things and there are some supplements that only the office can order and are restricted for general ordering.

The second biggest issue I’ve faced is the cost of everything. Each appointment and treatment is quite expensive and there is no easy way to submit it through insurance. This is kind of an expected thing by going to a naturopath, but it is still a financial burden and can feel pretty overwhelming with each bill.

One technical thing that could be an easy fix is that the patient system has a very limited character count when sending a message (140 characters I think?) and that includes spaces so there are times when it is difficult to explain a question or ask for follow-up on something.

All in all, I’ve had a mostly positive experience with naturmedica but because of how much the issues affect me, it is the reason for the lower stars. Would re-review and give higher stars if these things were addressed and improved in a significant way.

I was in and saw Dr Alicia Miller Jan 16,2024.
Had blood drawn on Jan 22, 2024. Dr had said results in 2-4 weeks. Gal who drew my blood said 4-6 weeks. They do send it elsewhere. So now it’s March 11th and no word back from drs office. Have called numerous times, left messages and no call back from anybody.
Once they get your money and it’s not cheap this blood work, they just don’t care.

Don’t go here.

I called several times. Nobody answers. Several voicemails left. No return calls. Fill out the form online? Did that too. Still no call back. Terrible customer service. What a disappointment this place is.
***UPDATE: These people also lie. Their response says their call records show they have called me back. THIS IS A LIE. I have received no calls and no messages from them. Unbelievable. Nice ethical behavior.

I have been seeing Dr. Rose for women’s health for years, and she is amazing if you need a provider to help with TTC or fertility issues. I needed a blood draw after another doctors office messed up the request etc. I called, and within less than 24 hours I was able to schedule the blood draw after the staff coordinated with Dr. Rose for the order. The blood draw was the best I’ve ever had, and I hate getting blood drawn! The new clinic is wonderful and the covid safety precautions are exceptional, thoughtfully done, and a step above the rest!
