I am so grateful for Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. When I started my program I was very ill. Educators at the school took the time to help me understand the care I needed to heal. When there were classes that I struggled with the school provided support and tutors to help me excel. I will forever be grateful for the education and support I received while working on my masters program. I am now a licensed acupuncturist with a beautiful thriving business and wellness group. The education I received at PIHMA saved my life and I am healthier than I have ever been. Thank you PIHMA!

The staff at this College are outstanding. Every time I see them at an event I learn something new about Oriental Medicine but also realize the love they have for each individual student.

I have come here to get my remedies filled many times over the years and they have quite a wide selection. It's very useful when you need something that isn't the standard remedy.

If it weren’t for the front desk person I’d give it five stars. The clinic is great. The students are very good at what they did. I think I get better care than I got from the $250 per session doctors I went to for several years.

The front desk person is incredibly rude. I thought it was just a one off. She seemed frazzled when I went in after a telemedicine appointment to pick up my supplements. She was not pleasant although I remained calm and kind. While there, I made an appointment for another telemedicine visit because I’ve got a cough so I’m trying to minimize in person interactions. I was very specific.

The day of the appointment it turned out she scheduled me for in person and caught an attitude with me for her mistake. I was just trying to resolve it as I completed my first round of supplements which helped tremendously and was asked to return upon completion. People make mistakes. It’s how you treat others that matters. It would not have been a big deal if she was able to be calm and focus on problem solving.

Affordable acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatment! I love this place! The staff is great and the student practitioners are knowledgeable, thorough and precise. Don't be intimidated by student shifts as there's always an experienced student in the visit and they consult the doctor or certified practitioner before doing anything.

I've been going for 10 years, as long as I've lived in Phoenix and I would totally die without these folks. Seriously. This place has been the cornerstone of my health care. Just got a free appt for my 100th time! It's sad when you find a clinician you come to love and they graduate, but so grateful for this place. How can you not beat the price? Thank God for affordable acupuncture!! <3

If the American Medical College of Homeopathy program is accredited at PIHMA, I will have to give this school rating a minimum score. Many students were affected by their actions when they were a stand alone homeopathy school and I would not recommend students engage in this program at PIHMA. They hurt quite a few people with very little regard and were dishonest and non-transparent about their finances until the end. It was very difficult for students and the integrity within their program was sub-par as far as assessing students fairly, mentoring, or in grading. While there were a few honest people in the program, most of the experiences in this program both from a leadership and student end were rather manipulating. I would encourage students to look elsewhere for this training and be very wary of any training you receive. It is not to be trusted.
