I went to The Fork Functional Medicine for a functional approach to my health. The good…they ran lots of labs…the bad…every appointment had an expensive supplement list that they suggest you purchase (sometimes in excess of $500 - not cross checked for sensitivities/allergies)…I was told I had to verify this myself which I thought was absurd…appointment scheduling was definitely inconsistent at best. At the end of the 3 week elimination diet plan they suggested…I became severely ill with debilitating headaches, extreme fatigue, severe pain and my thyroid became so enlarged it was visible…I reached out to them regarding these symptoms but did not receive any return communication from Cheryl for 3+ days …her emailed response was I did something out of order restart from the beginning. No phone call or office visit to physically see what was happening. After a late night emergent trip to urgent care and going to my regular doctor they found that my thyroid levels had become severely unbalanced during this time and my thyroid was highly inflamed.

The Fork Functional Medicine is not inexpensive…having to be my own advocate here is not what I was looking for. As much as I like functional medicine…I do feel that after my experience/treatment I received - I would not recommend The Fork Functional Medicine.

Just as she brought her extensive spiritual studies and knowledge to her life coaching practice, she brings that same knowledge, together with the wisdom she has gleaned from many years of coaching individuals to this new practice.
The combination of her years of experience, extensive training and her open, inquisitive an engaging manner, promises a more comprehensive understanding of the whole person than one can readily find anywhere in the area.
