If you are used to the fitness studios in major cities you might think it is hard to get an intense workout in NWA (esp if you are used to classes at the Walton fitness center). Nooma is incredible - very high intensity (in certain classes, like Strength), great music, good energy, and nice reset/release at the end. I appreciate how much effort is put into the choreography of the music with the moves - it is truly a very difficult thing to do well. Some months, the playlist and workouts are better than others, but I keep coming back because I always leave really tired in the best way. My Fitbit can prove it - I have way more active zone minutes doing nooma than most other 1 hour exercises (including peloton and orange theory). The heat helps (and feels good).

Now that I have moved and had tried other similar costing places like solid core, I need to send a shout out to this place for giving hard high intensity sessions where you can just pop in and get lost in the heat, music and the darkness! I love that the mat and the cooling towel is always ready for you. It is almost like going to a club to party but you end up working out instead! 🙂

My experience at Nooma has been nothing short of spectacular. What differentiates Nooma is the type of workout experience that they offer. The combination of yoga, weights, and cardio combined with a 95+ degree workout room results in a unique and exceptional workout experience with a high calorie burn.

The instructors are well trained and do a great job of motivating participants and encouraging people to continuously strive for improvement. The workout routines are refreshed every few weeks to keep the workouts new and challenging.

For me it took a few weeks to get used to the heat and the challenge of the workouts, but now I have completed over 160 classes in the past 6 months and have dropped nearly 50 pounds.

In my experience, the owners have been very responsive to questions and requests and take pride in offering a unique workout experience.

I highly recommend Nooma Rogers!!

I’ve done exercise classes for many years in many states!! I have to tell you there is NOTHING like Nooma out there! It’s so much more than a workout. What a fantastic concept that needs to be experienced to understand!! Bravo to the creators!!

Nooma is absolutely life changing! I’ve been a member now almost one year and never felt better. I used to do hot yoga, pilates, spin and weightlifting so I've tried it all. Nooma has such a wide variety of classes and teachers so you never get bored. It is such a warm and family friendly environment that I look forward to going each morning to class. My husband has even started to come as a guest and it’s helped him with his fitness journey as well. You gotta give Nooma a try to see what you have been missing! The teachers are fantastic and you’ll find each specialize in a specific type of class. i LOVE THIS PLACE AND YOU WILL TOO!!!

Good workout, and I appreciate that the mats are already put out for the clients. I appreciate that you don’t have to bring your own mat or towel. Enjoyed the music, large room and mirrors, and dark lighting. I will return!

However, in my opinion there should be a no phone policy in studio rooms. It was off putting to see everyone immediately start texting after the workout, even during it! Distracting to other clients and impacts the collective energy in the room especially in a place that emphasizes a mind body connection. I think this is something that management should consider for an overall better experience.

I decided to try Nooma bc I need low impact workouts that are also really challenging. It’s important to me to protect my joint health while continuing to build strength & endurance. The heat is intense, but I love it bc I feel like I’m leaving all I have on the mat.

PRO:
1. Great classes and a good variety.
2. Been going for a year. And i love how towels and mats are readily available. LOVE how they have hair ties and sanitary pads in the restroom. The lockers are great too. There is something pampering about Nooma despite the fact that it is a work out place!

CON: 1. Expensive and they keep increasing the prices too quickly.
2.But the MAJOR con is that they allow for overbooking and do not care to provide some SPACE between the mats, which kind of makes the whole time you are there worried about who you will hit or how awkwardly you need to get in and out. It seems like they do not want to lose their money so they let it book to the brim. I think they should consider expanding the studio.
3.And oh, the app can definitely be better!
4. There is a bit of a funky smell to the entrance, something that should be easy to fix!
