The staff at Advanced Canine is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Our dog Mabel came to the training center very fearful and nervous. Mark and the staff worked to build her confidence and retrain her tendency to react to other dogs. We received daily communication through messages and videos from the staff as to her progress as well as opportunities to join in the walks during her 3 weeks stay to help us build our skills too. Taking her out and walking with her is so much easier now as I now know how best to support her. We also made a lot of changes in our house that were suggested by Mark which has created a lot more peace and harmony in the home. Mark and his staff are incredibly dedicated and care deeply about the dogs under their care. Before meeting and working with the staff, I never considered sending Mabel to a kennel to board-now it's a fun place for her to go and she absolutely loves being there. I feel totally at peace and good about leaving her in Mark and his staff's care. Sending your dog to Advanced Canine is the best thing you could do for your pet. They will be well loved, cared for and truly in the best of hands. We feel very privileged that we had the honor of working with them.

Mark and his team are the best! After going through 2 other trainers, with little success, we found Mark in Downtown Wellen Park during a dog walking session with his team. We later met Mark at his training facility and knew he was the right fit for our very active puppy, Roxie. Leaving our fur-baby for 3 weeks was kinda sad but we knew it was the best thing to do for Roxie and us! What we loved was the abundance of photos, narrated videos, and updates we received every day on Roxie's progress. The trainers would send us videos narrating her demeanor and any behavior problems. We also saw how they were correcting, and what we should do in the future. Not only are they training your dog, but they are also educating the owners on how to work your dog at home to retain what they’ve learned during the three week training. The Sunday outings at Wellen Park farmers market is great and fun. We were able to visit with Roxie for "our" training sessions, including practicing proper walking in a crowd setting. It is great that Mark and his team continue, especially on the dog walk outings, to help us. We have learned so much from Mark and when Roxie graduated and we brought her home, she was a whole new dog - calm and enjoyable. She will test us at times, but Mark has given us the tools to help with this and has been available if we have any questions. We will also definitely board with them when needed. We highly recommend Advanced Canine Development.

Mark, Ali, Emily, Hayley and the rest of the team are amazing. They had my Rudy for 3 weeks and what a difference that 3 weeks made. It was hard being away from him, but they sent lots of videos and picture. I also had many trainings with other fur parents and some one on ones. Rudy is doing great and it’s such a comfort to know they are always there for us when we need them. Thank you ACD! You’re the BEST!

I brought my 7 & 9 year old and Mark and everyone taught old dogs new tricks! The amount of extra effort they put in is remarkable. Daily updates and weekend trips to busy markets etc where we can join them to get more familiar with working in crowds. And the fact that you can continue to join them for those weekend walks is amazing. They just don’t tell you to do something but tell you why. 100% recommend. We love Mark, Ali, Hayley and team. This is the second dog we’ve hired Mark to train and the first in his board and train program. I didn’t know what to expect (besides a well behaved dog after 3 weeks) but I was very impressed with the plethora of photos, narrated videos, and updates we received every day on Louie’s progress. The trainers would send us videos narrating his demeanor and motivations, problematic behavior, what they were doing to correct it, and what we should do in the future if we see it again. Not only are they teaching your dog good manners, but they are also educating you on how to behave towards your dog to keep everything they’ve just learned at training school. The weekend outings at the farmers markets were extremely helpful. We were able to visit with Louie and practice proper walking techniques by keeping him in line with a trainer providing real time feedback. We will definitely enroll our future dogs in Mark’s board and train program. I cannot recommend Advanced Canine Development enough.

The entire staff was great to work with and kept us posted on our puppy Kody’s progress continually throughout his training!!
Ali was the main trainer for our puppy and was excellent !!! It was obvious how much she not only enjoyed her work but how much she truly cares for the dogs. Advanced Canine Development was the perfect choice for creating a solid foundation for our new puppy.

Our Training Journey with Advance Canine Development.

Mark, Hayley, Erica, and Ali, we wanted to take this time to express our heartfelt thanks for the exceptional service and dedication that all of you provided in training our dogs Mio and Enzo.
Your expertise, patience, and dedication put us in a positive direction with both.
When Mio came to you, he was grieving with the loss of his brother Tuffy. He was sad, aggressive, and lost. You helped him gain his confidence back and let him find his happiness again with us.
We brought an eight-week-old puppy, Enzo to our home about a month after the loss of our 12 year old Shih Tzu Tuffy. The puppy is adorable but has some personality quirks that have challenged us. You gave us the tools and information to help us deal with his severe separation anxiety. It is a journey for both of us.
Your approach to training humans is paramount in the success and journey of training dogs. The human part of the training is to set yourself back to “zero”. We had to acknowledge that we knew nothing about the training journey we were embarking on. All the dogs and experience before is just what it was …before! We are learning to use our experience and knowledge to apply to our puppy, Enzo, and our six-year-old Mio who are different dogs with different personalities.
We are grateful for the positive impact you've had on both of our dog's behavior and our overall relationship.
Mio and Enzo will continue their training journey with us and an occasional refresher back at the training facility at Advanced Canine Development!

I had an exceptional experience with this company. The staff was outstanding—Ali, in particular, was incredibly helpful, and both Hayley and Emily were equally impressive. Mark, the owner, is deeply committed and passionate about the work he and his team do, and it truly shows. It’s clear that both he and his staff care deeply about their business and the well-being of their clients. They did a fantastic job with our dog, Luca. He’s now well-behaved and has learned so much.
