I had open heart surgery in September. A nurse mentioned that acupuncture may help accelerate my healing. She recommended American Health Acupuncture. Juan was amazing. He treated me a number of times. I healed incredibly fast. All of my doctors had never seen anyone recover as fast from heart surgery. It was incredible. I also had muscle spasms all over my back. He was able to stop the spasms immediately. I highly recommend American Health Acupuncture for treatments.

American Health Acupuncture is wonderful! From the moment you walk in, you are like family. I have been working with Juan since moving to AZ just under 3 years ago. As a previous patient of acupuncture in another state, I was looking for a person to continue my care and understand my needs. Juan did just that! Juan has helped me in numerous ways from working mentally on my stress level (leaving it all behind) to my autoimmune disease (keeping it in check and relieving pain as needed) and my asthma . He has also helped my teenage son with injuries from sports and growing pains. Could not say enough about Juan and Sherri! Very fortunate to have found them!

I don't know how to put into words how exceptional the treatment that Juan and Sherry offer. Instead of 5.0, I would give them a 10.0. Acupuncture isn't always easy, and they gave me hope and love and friendship and treated me as a feeling human being instead of a subject. I went to see Juan Tejada recently at the recommendation of my brother-in-law. I found him to be very intuitive and his treatments very healing. I have multiple health issues but my main reason for seeing him was because of my chronic migraines. I rarely have more than one day in a row without a migraine, but after three consecutive treatments with Juan, I had 5 DAYS WITHOUT A MIGRAINE!!! I highly recommend American Health Acupuncture if you are looking for more natural healing remedies. His wife, Sherry, the office manager, was also amazing and gave me lots of helpful information on where to buy healthier personal and home care products.
