Pill pushers. No exercise or diet advice, it takes months to see a nutritionist. Just pills and unsafe caloric reductions. Also, this "medical" facility hires "nurses" who don't know that patients need to uncross their feet for bp readings to be accurate. Waste of time, very disappointing.

Dodged a bullet! Not concerned about you at all. Poor communication. About $. Psych evaluation cost $3100... watch out for hidden costs! I can only imagine the total cost of surgery in the non preferred/ out of network surgery center, etc. Fees and costs would have been insane! Thank goodness our PCP told us about TRANSCARENT surgery benefits! Call your insurance and ask about TRANSCARENT surgery benefits, and get bariatric surgery 100% free, 1st class airfare to lower 48, and free hotel! Dr.Billing in Washington at Transform Weight-loss was amazing, office staff were too! Only thing positive at Anchorage Bariatrics was Soleil Thiele! She's a dietitian who really cares and provides exceptional care to her patients. Thank you Soleil!

If I could give them a negative star review this would justify negative stars... I was referred to Dietitians of Alaska (whom resides within the office of Anchorage Bariatrics) from my GI doctor as I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2021. My GI doctor has been monitoring my diagnosis since then and even though I have been gluten free for 3 years, my celiac levels in my gut are still showing high level of gluten in my system. As a first step in trying to figure out why, my GI doctor referred me to a dietitian to see if there is anything else I could be doing that I wasn't already doing. Knowing that dietitians are expensive, I had Dietitians of Alaska check into my insurance beforehand as I would not be able to afford the appointments if it was not. I spoke to a woman by the name of Gini, who checked & advised me that my insurance approved up to 25 visits, so I went ahead & had an appointment in February. Jump to now & I am being harassed by Precision Practice Management (a medical billing company) claiming I owe them a significant amount of $. Confused I called Dietitians of Alaska to clear up why I had a bill, when I was under the understanding that I had so many visits covered. I again spoke directly to Gini, who is now advising me that my insurance approved up to 25 visits but is subject to my deductible or co-pays... considering that my appointment was in February (OF COURSE) my high deductible was not met & this was NOT properly explained to me by Gini, had it been I would not have made the appointment... Thus I am now saddled with a large bill, putting me in a financial hardship, for 1 single appointment that I should have never had, as they honestly didn't give me any assistance anyways. All in all, Gini & Dietitians of Alaska need to be better about explaining coverage to their potential clients as not everyone is well versed in Medical billing or coverage... or maybe that's how they want to be & do this intentionally... regardless I will never use them or recommend them to anyone EVER!

I had a large hiatal hernia, and suffered for years with pain and difficulties eating. Dr. Clark performed the repair 2/19/24. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon. He is kind, caring and explains everything thoroughly. The result of the surgery is excellent. There were no complications, and all the issues I'd suffered with for so long have disappeared. My quality of life has improved dramatically and I'm so grateful. He's the best!

Dr. Clark is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He spent a lot of time with my family and myself explaining the procedure he performed. The office staff were friendly and very helpful, answering the questions I had.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my weight loss needs. Dr Clark is amazing and shows a true interest in his patients. I felt cared for and listened to and that’s important in such a sensitive journey. From the start of my journey until this very moment Dr Clark and his staff have remained supportive and that has allowed me to be the most successful version of myself. I will forever be grateful to Dr Clark and his skillful hands and endless wisdom ❣️❣️
