After trying four different Chinese traditional medicine clinics in the Bay Area, we found Dr. Andrew Wu in Cupertino, and we couldn't be happier with the results. My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Wu's clinic for nearly five years—my wife goes biweekly, and I go monthly—for both treating our health issues and maintaining our overall wellness. We receive a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine therapy from him.

Dr. Wu's method is unique; it's a blend of traditional Chinese medicine and a unique approach he developed over several decades with multiple books authored. Though I don't fully comprehend the method, the therapy has yielded excellent results for us. Dr. Wu is warm and kind, exuding great positive energy, and his wife Jane is super caring, which makes the experience even better. There is usually a long wait—30 minutes to an hour—so we always make sure to leave enough time for our appointments.

After each therapy session, we always feel refreshed and better. Aside from the treatment effects, each visit offers a welcome respite from our busy lives.

I highly recommend Dr. Wu's service for the patients with the matching needs and expectations.

Great doctor who truly cares. And you will definitely feel better once you received your treatment.
However, there are issues with their operations. You show up on time for your appointment, but you always have to wait 45-60mins before seeing the doctor.
The lady at the front desk is not very friendly, just like other reviewers have mentioned.

I visited this office 3x and feel no improvement. Be careful with this office is over charging!
Mrs Wu asked me to pay full amount at the time of service and she said will return back to patient when insurance paid.
The office has delayed > 3 months after insurance had paid and I did not receive the full refund amount because
they took out additional money from insurance paid, so greedy !!!
Called the office many times with no response, some staffs taking messages were very impolite.

The front office people is a bit rude, I waited for an hour before I can see doctor. They all don’t have sense about time and think patients time is useless.

Even I have an insurance in network I had to pay ahead $170 and Jane didn't explain what includes. And she said she needs to paper work. This is my first time clinic needs to paper work after treatment. They didn't tell me about it before the treatment. If I knew it, I wouldn't go there. This is a scam. Please away this place otherwise you need to spend lots of time to figure out your insurance covers this place.

We had 2 insurances and they still wanted us to pay ahead as a cash customer then they claimed insurances. They didnot claim correctly, provided us with wrong information that we had to submit the claims ourselves. I spent so much time to submit the claims and found out they need to submit the claims. They said they submit the insurance claims as a favor for us!!!! Then when they received all the payments from insurances they still do not send us back our advance payments. It came to the point my daughter almost gave up getting back our payment, until we decided to come to their office and demand to get our payment back OR we are ready to sue them. Dr. Wu seems kind and professional but Jane, the office manager and the whole staff are extremely unprofessional, overbooked. My daughter always had to wait for at least 30 minutes to 1 hr to be treated. If you are looking for trouble in your life, come to this office!

I have known Dr. Wu for about 18 years. I initially went to him for chronic asthma which went away after several visits. Yes the tea is bitter but a small price to pay!...About five years ago I was scheduled to have my gallstones removed. I was there for something else and mentioned it to him. He said not to do it and to let him help me since he had helped a patient in China with a similar problem. So I cancelled the surgery and had no more gallbladder attacks! He is one of the top acupuncturists in the country and I can see why.

I have been in the care of Dr. Wu and his team for almost 20 years. They have massively improved my allergies that used to wreck me. I have gone in for debilitating back pain which could not be be fixed by anyone else, and was able to walk out on my own. They have been a beacon of hope and efficacy throughout my adult life. I am so very grateful to the people who work at this amazing place of healing!
