Erin is absolutely amazing, I’ve been coming for about 4 months and I’ve had amazing results with her guidance. Pricing is better than going to my own pcp for the same medication, and I walk out with it without having to visit the pharmacy.

Their Nurse Practitioner, Erin, is nothing short of an egotistical, supercilious, and quite honestly uneducated on the latest methodologies regarding weight loss and continued maintenance. Hardly what I would call a “professional” based on her demeanor and treatment of people. Another Nurse Practitioner with an inferiority complex because they want to be treated as Doctors. You see this quite often in the medical community.

This should come as no surprise considering they do not have a proper website. Just a Facebook page. Said Facebook page does not include any relevant, helpful, or informative content that would aid you in choosing their clinic or not. Their building has the appearance of what you would see out of a “free clinic.” Cold and uninviting. Not a single aesthetically pleasing thing to the eye.

I have been to other facilities where you receive better treatment, see actual doctors, and do not have to sit in a clinic that makes you feel like you need a tetanus shot after.

Professional tip, if a weight loss management facility can fit you into their schedule immediately, they are probably not that great. Your more reputable facilities have waiting periods up to six weeks. Just wait to go to one of the other facilities with the better reputation. You will pay a little bit more, but you won’t be treated like a criminal for merely discussing your experience with other doctors and offering to send your medical records over for review. Erin does not do well if you mention your other maintenance plans you’ve been on with other ACTUAL doctors. I’ll give her this, she certainly has the ego of a doctor. Unfortunately, credentials do not match demeanor. She reports to a doctor who oversees the facility, however, said doctor is not on-site and readily available. You’re at the mercy of “Not A Dr. Erin.”

To set the scene for you, I asked “Not A Dr. Erin” why this practice operates differently and has different policies than the others. I calmly explained my experiences with the facility I was a patient of before moving to NWA, and my experiences with the facility I found when I moved here. The reason for visiting a different one was because I have not been to that facility in 6 months, and knew there’d most likely be a few week waitlist. AR Weightloss & Wellness offered a quicker visit. Obviously, I chose the soonest option. After speaking for a few moments, let me say they were calm and I had no clue she was even upset, she abruptly stood up and asked me to leave or else she would call the police. When I say this was completely out of nowhere, I was legitimately shocked. Shocked because; I am a gay man, she was obviously not in danger. Not sure why the police were even mentioned. Second, in my entire life, not once has someone threatened to call the police on me. Just highly unprofessional considering the facts. Didn’t wake up today thinking I would be treated like a criminal by a “medical professional.”

The giant “PHENTERMINE” banners outside their building really should be the warning label. It’s quite tawdry.

Seek your weight loss journey elsewhere. This is not it.

So far so good. Love the friendly staff and experienced nurse. Very busy so appointments are encouraged however they have Monday’s as walk-in day which so far has worked quite well for me. Thanks everyone!
