Ashley is very knowledgeable, encouraging and kind. She provides great guidance that is part of a lifestyle change and mental shift. Her approach is not just about loosing weight but about creating a sustainable healthy way to eat. She encourages you to focus on your victories and makes plans to deal with hang ups. She does not make you feel bad for slipping back into bad habits but strategies with you to help you. I’d definitely recommend Ashley Larsen if your looking for a great nutritionist and coach!

2019 brought me a resolution to lose weight and become more fit. I joined (again) a national program and worked steadily to achieve both. Despite my diligence, and some weight loss, I found myself feeling lousy. After some at-home experimentation I discovered that my body reacts badly to "foods" laden with preservatives and additives; I realized I needed to clean up my act, literally! So I resolved to find a nutritionist who could help me learn to shop for, prepare and eat healthier food.
Ashley has truly been a blessing. Her common-sense approach to food, portion control and mindfulness was just the combination I needed. Ashley provides guidance based on her education as a Registered Dietician as well as her own life experience. She provides shopping guidance, recipes for healthy, delicious food and a lot of non-judgmental suggestions. There's no weigh-in, counting or noisy cheerleading, just Ashley's calm, kind but no-nonsense approach to living with good food. I even managed to complete a 7-day cruise without the expected weight gain and I didn't feel deprived for a single minute! I highly recommend Ashley for anyone who wants to eat and live more healthily!

Earlier this year, after not only wanting to lose a few pounds but lead a healthier lifestyle, I turned to Ashley Larsen for guidance. What a life changer! Instead of doing a fad diet that would possibly cause me to gain the weight back, I learned better eating habits and felt the best I have in years. Going back to my adolescent years and refocusing my mind has not only been beneficial to me, but also to my own daughter. I worked with Ashley to establish better nutritional habits and work on my relationship with food. She was very helpful and encouraging and had useful tips that were easy to incorporate in my life style. Through the process, I had some points of regression into old habits and I can say she was not judgmental at all and very good at motivating me to get back on track in kind and compassionate way. By implementing tips and tools I learned from Ashley, I have been able to shed some unwanted pounds and keep them off. I still have a little ways to go to hit my goal, but I am confident I will get there after working with Ashley! I highly recommend her coaching if you are looking to establish better nutritional habits, but at a loss of where to start.

I think what stands out to me the most is, Ashley makes the whole process a part of your life. Yes you have to change bad habits but she helps the good habits naturally integrate into your daily life. Some are very simple yet so valuable. I have to stay away from a list of foods and Ashley is very good at making alternative meal plans that won't leave you wanting. Tell yourself that you are worth taking care of yourself and visit Ashley.

I had a positive experience with Ashley. She wasn’t judgmental of my lifestyle and instead focused on the good. She worked out a plan specifically for my unconventional schedule. I work 12 hour night shifts and was able to help me figure out a meal plan. She emailed me a calendar marked with times I should eat, which was super helpful. I needed help with consistency & planning times to eat. She also offers recipes that aren’t difficult to follow. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
