Provider left, document patient was a no show for appointment. The provider was in agreement with mother to contact contact mother 's phone no call. Provider left company, no one reach out to inform patient or caregiver. Now patient is not allowed medicine, was scheduled for medication on October 2, 2024.. Office manager was supposed to call no help..... still waiting.

I have been getting my care here for the past 2 years. Having experienced other care from other offices in the high desert, Behavioral Health Consultants have been the best from their front office to my provider. All of them are caring and compassionate. They have helped me tremendously with my overall health. I am so thankful and love my provider. She takes the time to listen to me which helps in finding the best treatment and care. She’s proactive in finding the best care because our medical treatment changes as we do and sometimes it takes time to find the right one. I am at ease here. Their waiting area in comfortable and big. They also take care of our privacy. It’s nice that they have offered EMR access via online.

I went in and approached what I thought was the front desk since both doors on each side were open and immediately was told this isnt the front its says it right on the door. So automatically without even speaking a full sentence I was verbally attacked in a condescending way.
I brushed it off as I could see it probably happens alot to them and I'm sure they get annoyed with people walking into the wrong door. I can accept that. Next I proceeded to walk into the correct side and told the ladies I was a 1st time patient gave them my name and once they looked me up to check me in. I was told I needed a co payment now I dont mind paying I'm just a very organized and prepared person in every occassion i like knowing how much i need before proceeding with all things in life so I asked why I wasnt informed with the co payment along with the list of things they wanted me to bring. Like a form of ID, insurance and to come in 1hr prior which of course being me I followed directions precisely. I was then given an attitude in return and was told I need to call my insurance now anyone that works in the medical industry knows that when your dealing with military insurance the beneficiary is the one that must call the insurance even tho I'm married the beneficiary still has to be the one to call. I have never in my life had someone in any medical office speak to me in such a condescending and rude way. I feel that when you work in a place dealing with people with serious mental and emotional problems there needs to be a sense of empathy towards your patients which all the woman in the front desk lack. Once you get called in you will be treated with the sweetest nurse ever!!! Shes so kind and definitely has empathy for each patient.
Absolutely wonderful. The Nurse Practitioner as well. Such a great guy. So smart they really know what they are doing. Thank god for good hearted people like them.

This office does not care about their clients. I’m a caregiver and I took my client for an appointment she had for over a month, she has serious anxiety and depression. We got there and the receptionist told me her appointment was canceled because they called to confirm her appointment the day before and because she didn’t answer they canceled it. Now she has to wait months again. I have never in 24 years of being a caregiver had an appointment canceled on a client just because they failed to answer the phone. Now the poor lady is losing her mind and suffering because they were more concerned about if she didn’t show up they might lose money.

I found Foothills Behavioral Health 10 years ago when I was a newly recovering addict. I was highly unstable and I could barely get out of bed. I didn't work and I barely took care of my kids. I began treatment with Dr Shirey and Dr O'Hiaeri and my whole life changed. They absolutely saved my life. I owe everything to them. Now 10 years later I am a trauma therapist dedicated to giving people what these two doctors gave to me. There is no better place to go for mental health services.

I haven’t dealt with anyone rude here, everyone is kind. The front desk employees are always very nice. Nancy was very helpful. ? My therapist is also nice and actually seems like he cares and I’m very particular with the therapists I continue seeing because most of the time it just seems like they’re just there for a paycheck. But that’s not the case this time. Hopefully this doesn’t change. So far so good. No issues with my psychiatrist either, but I do miss my old psychiatrist, Dr. John Adenji he was awesome and very professional.

I am not a resident of Apple Valley but I do work up here so this is the place I was recommended. The person at the front desk was extremely helpful and answered all my questions very informatively and quickly. Her name was Jessica and I could tell she was giving 110% of herself in the shift. She was not only helping us customers but I observed her answer all of her partners questions and offered help to them no matter how many things it looked like she was doing. I am so blessed to be able to have her provide my service as I was able to be done with everything and was extremely educated and felt comfortable within a surprisingly fast amount of time.

Believe the reviews that say they cancel appointments and are very unprofessional. Twice now they have called to "confirm" appointment but have the wrong number on file, even after us correcting the number last time it happened. I called this morning to confirm the appointment we have with them this evening since I hadn't heard from them just to be told they have ALREADY cancelled our appointment since we had not confirmed. Mind you, its already been 3 weeks with no therapy for my child due to there schedule and now we have to wait for another two weeks to see someone. I am incredibly disappointed with lack of service. Definitely will not recommend to anyone who NEEDS therapy sessions consistently.
