I recently had kidney pain. I don't like taking medication and running to doctors, so I altered my diet, which helped. But I was meditating about how I could further support my kidneys, and got the hit: Acupuncture! That made sense, as there is a kidney meridian.

I asked a friend if he had experience with acupuncture and he recommended Chico Community Acupuncture. The price is very reasonable, so that I can go weekly, as my intention is to really heal and have vibrant health. My kidneys already feel better (no pain) but I also want to deal with my knee issues (which I found out are related to kidneys) and hormonal issues. I am learning so much from Olivia!

More importantly, I look forward to the nurturing environment. I get to sit back and relax in a warm environment, surrounded by other people who are doing the same. The needles do not hurt. Instead I feel energy moving in my body, which seemed to have been blocked. And I feel so happy that I am supporting my body in a way that is healing, with no harmful side effects.

I am so grateful that such a place exists in Chico, and highly recommend it.

Best treatments ever! I suffer from chronic pain, lupus, R.A., migraine headaches and other daily disabilities and after my first time getting acupuncture from the pinwheel I was totally amazed and so very impressed. I feel so blessed to have Pinwheel as a huge part of my healing team. Sometimes in life you get more challenges. I was hit while parked by a motorcycle. I always feel much better after receiving treatment at Pinwheel! I try to go as often as possible because it makes such a big difference in the way I feel as far as energy, sleep and mental clarity. I have been to many community acupuncture places and Pinwheel is my favorite.
