I have been to gyms all over the world and this is hands down, the best yet! They have: 24 hour access, a huge climbing wall, cardio equipment that activates muscles I didn't know I had, rope pulls, versa climbers, a tread wall, punching bags, more Nautilus machines and weighs than I can count, an entire room dedicated to abs and back, free belay certification, climbing parties, kids climbing camp, personal training, along with TONS of member perks. Oh and nice, clean, showers and locker room which is always appreciated! Thank you Class 5 Fitness - this place is like a dream!

Honestly Class 5 is great. I’ve been a 24/7 member for a few years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There are obviously areas that could be improved, as could be said about any business, but the culture that the owner Bev creates there is outstanding. She always tries to help out by providing coaching when she sees potential for injury. I highly recommend giving this gym a shot if you haven’t had the opportunity to yet.

I had quite the poor experience going here. I recently moved across the road and was excited to have a 24 hour fitness so close to home. Despite their website saying 24/7, you can't go in a get a 24/7 membership. I was told you have to sign up with a year contract, however, their price sheet stated you had to apply to get the 24/7 membership after 30 days of being a member. While I don't agree with entering a contract for a perk that I might never get, my first thought was "well maybe they are worried new people with disrespect their area or equipment." However, quite a bit of equipment had issues.

I decided to give them a try and signed up for a 3 day pass. I was looking to do cardio that day and it seemed a bit busy. 6 treadmills, 3 were taken, 2 were broken and 1 had the loudest noise coming from the machine that my headphones couldn't even drown out the sound. I went to try an elliptical and it was also, extremely worn out and made loud noises. In fact, most of the cardio machines were in need of attention.

It seemed they did have a good weight selection as quite a bit of people were using them, but with all the machines cramped into the small building, there was little to no space to do much with them and people were switching to something else when it got too crowded with only 3 people.

Their locker room and main areas seemed clean and tidy, but Very Cramped.

The people are super friendly and helpful and the facilities are in working order. My daughter likes the wall and I like that there’s been a great effort to keep routes fresh.
I changed my original review because I found out that climbing hours are during the gym's listed hours, not just the front desk staffed hours (either this changed, or we were misinformed previously). That means, more consistent hours to climb without a monthly membership.

Class 5 has something for everyone. Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes. Weight machines and free weights. A sauna. A room with TVs you can plug your phone in and follow your favorite videos. And of course the indoor climbing wall! It is very spacious with lots of equipment, so even when it's busy there will still be multiple machines to choose from.
The people coming in to work out are here to work out, not have a fashion show.
The owners are about overall health and wellness so swing by Dr. John Sousa's practice located adjacent to the gym for chiropratic, massage and nutrition counseling services.

Yikes! Today I am EIGHT OHHH!

When I was 66 I joined my first gym ever in Lodi.

The next year we moved in to Sonora Hills, and about a year after that I discovered CLASS 5, and suddenly my life changed for the better!
CLASS 5 keeps me strong; so I can live a better life.
CLASS 5 is the lynchpin that enables me to ski ⛷️ and bike 🚴 and hike Yosemite.

You’ve brought in some great equipment!
The new torso rotation is just one example.
