I have only worked with Anne over the phone, but I can confidently say she genuinely cares about her patients and the work she does. I originally planned to meet with Anne for fertility support, but just a few days before our appointment, I found out I was happily pregnant. Anne was incredibly understanding about my decision to cancel the appointment and immediately provided guidance on the next steps to take in early pregnancy.

I came to Anne two years ago feeling "off" and helpless as I struggled with secondary infertility after a year of trying for another baby. Anne helped me to "dig deeper" and determine the root cause of what was happening in my body. She pushed me to ask questions and seek new answers. Once we determined the cause, Anne encouraged me to get second opinions and determine ways to have it resolved. I would not have done any of these things had she not given me such sound advice and counsel. Anne is an amazing and knowledgeable acupuncture practitioner!! I always recommend her first thing to anyone who brings up their struggles with infertility or looking to better prepare for family planning. She is very thorough and gets down to the point with her deep understanding of western medicine integrated with acupuncture to secure positive results. Her space is so welcoming and calming. 10/10 recommend her to everyone.

Where do I begin on how truly amazing Anne is. I was trying naturally for a while after having a miscarriage and doing everything I could to get pregnant but nothing was happening. I had lost hope in traditional medicine. When I came across Anne, I knew she would help me get to the bottom of why I was not getting pregnant. I met with her but was going to be traveling for a few months so she wouldn’t let me start anything with her because she said it would be a waste of both of our times. One thing about Anne is she is straight forward and blunt which I appreciated. While I was away I was doing acupuncture with someone else and it didn’t do much of anything because no one is as specialized as Anne in fertility acupuncture. Once I got back we got the ball rolling on weekly treatments, had bloodwork done specific for fertility (which no doctor had asked me to do before) and guided me to do some other testing to rule certain things out. Anne is so knowledgeable and is truly passionate about what she does. She had helped me more in a month than any doctor did in a year. I was driving 3 hours round trip once a week to see her and it was worth it. It is a sacrifice and discipline that most don’t want to commit to but you have to if you want to see results. Towards the end of month 4 I was getting a bit restless and Anne reminded me it takes time and to trust the process. A week later I found out I was pregnant! Anne has been my lifeline every step of the way. I don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t put my faith in her. I can’t thank her enough!

I scheduled appointment with Anne, before my transfer. She really cares for her patients and personally knows everyone. She knows more than my doctor, and give me very useful advices. She also said whenever we need any guidance and have question we can reach out to her anytime which means alot. She's really sweet and has very in depth knowledge about natural medicine and herbs.

My therapist highly recommended I make a phone call to Anne at Cleveland Acupuncture and I am so glad I did. For the first time in this miserable infertility journey, Anne was the first person to take the time and listen to me and my concerns. I finally felt seen and heard. I was only calling Anne to get a recommendation for an acupuncturist where I live in Dayton and she went above and beyond. She helped me find an acupuncturist, told me a list of supplements to buy, specific Chinese herbs to take, and told me I have to start taking things seriously with my egg quality if I want the chance to have a biological child. It was the exact motivation I needed. She gave me hope. She also gave me contact info of her previous clients and I talked to each one for an hour and a half on the phone. All three said the same thing- do exactly what Anne tells you, she knows what she's doing. I am currently taking the next three months off fertility treatments to work on egg quality before our phone call with Dr. Gustofson in December at CCRM. I am hopeful that with the help of Anne and Dr. G, my husband and I can bring home our miracle baby.

Without exaggeration and in tandem with so many other medical professionals (many of which Anne connected us to), I believe Cleveland Acupuncture is the reason we are expecting a baby. There is no roadmap handed to a couple battling infertility, but Anne gave to us - and will give to you - the most comprehensive approach and brightest light she can to guide you through the forest. When we began seeing Anne, we had a history of incorrect diagnoses. Anne helped us obtain the proper diagnostics to get to the root, setting me on a healthier path towards conception and armed with a compassionate care team including Dr Mulligan and Lindsay Schuld. She was invaluable in interpreting charts and wading through the many tests to improve not only prenatal but maternal health. Without Anne, I am certain my (correct) diagnosis of endometriosis would have come much later or not at all. She guided us through the practice of eastern medicine when western medicine was not enough, especially to build a lining for IVF transfer. Cleveland Acupuncture is much more than the name lets on. Ultimately, Anne provided emotional support (including connecting you with other patients), nutritional advice and so much more than acupuncture (which I thoroughly enjoyed and did find relaxing!) by providing a space to learn and explore options. She truly cares about her whole patient and finding a pathway to a successful journey. We are eternally grateful to Anne.
