My experience with Deena has been very pleasant and peaceful. I came in with a lot of anxiety due to an autoimmune disease diagnosis that would inevitably make me loose sections of my hair without hope of regrowth. Needless to say, I was depressed and not sleeping much. My scalp felt itchy and mildly sore which only added to my anxiety. Deena was very calming and patient as she listened to my concerns. She reviewed my lab work and immediately identified several potentially contributing factors to my problem. It was reassuring to find someone so knowledgable and confident about her work and with years of experience. She took the time to explain how I needed to boost my immune system and take supplements and herbals to regain my health. She also treated me with acupuncture during my visits. Deena is incredible. I truly never write reviews but deena has changed my life. I went to her for hormonal imbalance that my doctors had diagnosed as having unknown cause with no treatment plan. Their methods for trying to handle the symptoms were some medications that are apparently extremely dangerous if you get pregnant so I was not eager to try those. Deena has handled all of my hormone care since then and now (4 months later) my hormone panel is the lowest it’s ever been (after being more than double the expected range for 2 years). My symptoms are WAY down and I just feel better as a human. Aside from the hormone regulations she’s helped with my energy levels, temperature regulation, nausea, my skin looks healthier, truly just a healthier person. I go to her once a month and do an acupuncture treatment along with taking all the herbs and supplements she gives me.
