I've been coaching with Camille and love how I see immediate results when I apply lessons learned, at my job and in my family life. The coaching approach is practical and the science aspects are explained in a way I understand and they make sense. Learning about how my brain functions and learning to work with it rather than against it, has been amazing. Add to that the insights into my true CORE temperaments and I find myself on an entire new journey to self discovery and understanding of others. Grateful for the community and guidance. Katja

I have learned SO MUCH from this course. Going into the course with my fiance, we didn’t have a specific reason for taking it/going to therapy. We kind of just thought, ‘why not?!’. I’m so glad we did it because I feel more prepared for marriage and a lifelong relationship than I ever did before. The modules were each so insightful. Dr. Denim Slade has a way with words, for sure. It’s like he takes really complex topics (like temperament, brain rewiring, and conflict resolution) and he simplifies it enough not only to understand it, but he also teaches and gives practices that helped us to implement all the awesome skills we were learning. Honestly I thought I was pretty self aware before taking this course but I’ve since learned that there are so many things I can do to improve and live my happiest and healthiest life. Learning about our CORE temperaments has been one of the best things for our relationship. We understand each other on a deeper level and we know WHY we do what we do. Some of my biggest takeaways from this course are that I am not broken, my partner is not broken, and that when you are in a relationship with someone there will always be hard times but that does not mean you can’t get through them. You just need the right practices and skills to navigate them. I’ve learned how to communicate my feelings (or ‘throw a pass that is easy to catch’ as Denim would say) in a more productive way and I’ve also learned how to better receive information during conflict management. This has resulted in way less discomfort and anxiety in our relationship. Because of this class I feel like I can take on anything that comes my way whether it be personally or in my relationship

I absolutely loved the Healthy and Happy series, and Sharla is an AMAZING coach! She is so dedicated to the program and I felt absolutely safe and secure when working with her.

I primarily sought out the program as a way to improve communication and relationship building with the people I work with on a professional level. The first thing I noticed is that the tools and insights provided in the program helped me to realize the importance of first strengthening my communication and relationships with the people to whom "I should matter the most". This is groundbreaking for me because much of my trouble was focusing too much on people I work with professionally (who of course are very important to me.....but should I matter the most to them? Was I putting too much effort into my work and those relationships?) I already had a supremely wonderful and supportive family -- so I didn't come to the program looking for help with that -- but I quickly realized that this program was going to show me how much MORE AMAZING my relationships with my husband and daughter could be...and why that was really what I needed!

Getting to really know who I am in terms of core temperament was especially critical...as was being able to identify the same in the people I work with. This really helped me to quickly understand the difficulties I was having with a particular colleague and why that one relationship was not working well.
Sharla helped me to realize that I am very self-aware and how to use that to my benefit, even if it means accepting that not all relationships are meant to be...and that it is OK to seek out better, healthier, and productive relationships for myself.

I highly recommend the Healthy and Happy series to anyone who is looking to learn more about their own core temperament and why understanding it and how to focus it into positive action is key to better communication, better relationships, and to personal health and emotional wellbeing. If you take the time to really do the work (and it isn't hard work...you just need to commit to doing it and be consistent!)

I fully endorse Sharla as a personal coach. From day one she really took the time to ask about --and understand -- my needs. She asked what I was really looking to get out the course and our time together. I asked her to really hold me accountable and she didn't fail in that! Most importantly she went above and beyond for me when I really needed it...and just the small personalized efforts she made to really encourage me made HUGE differences for me during a few difficult days. Sharla you are FANTASTIC!!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Slade (Denim). This talented therapist has counseled and helped me through the most difficult crisis of my life. He gave me tools to objectively analyze the situation I was going through, put into practice healthy coping skills, deal with conflict resolution, and set healthy boundaries for myself. He was always professional and caring. I love that he was able to blend sound psychology techniques with the Christian principles that guide my value system. I highly recommend Denim! You won’t find any better.

Dr Slade has a longstanding pattern of predatory behavior in the states of Texas and most recently in Utah where he was forced to surrender his license. I have personal experience with Dr Slade, wherein he provided me therapy while at the same time he attempted to romantically lure away my then wife, who was also a client. Extremely unethical and unprofessional. What’s even more disconcerting about Dr Slades’ unethical behavior was the fact he used personal revelation and God’s will as justification. Do your research on Dr Slade before making such an important decision.

I have personally known and worked with Dr. Slade for many years and the service he offers is absolutely invaluable. If there is anything worth investing time, money, and effort, it would be acquiring deeper understanding of one's self and one's relationships.
