After months of trying to conceive with no luck, I turned to acupuncture on the advice of a friend in conjunction with IVF. From the very first session, I felt incredibly supported by Dr. Joo, who took the time to understand my unique situation. The treatments and tea helped me to relax, reduce stress, and feel more in tune with my body.

Over time, I noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being and energy levels. It felt like everything was starting to align, and after several months of consistent treatments, I was overjoyed to find out I was pregnant with twins! I truly believe the acupuncture was a vital part of my success. It not only helped regulate my cycle but also gave me the calm and patience I needed during such an emotional time.

I was recommended to go see an acupuncturist by my doctor for pain and I was all for it because I had it done before years ago somewhere else out of State which was an amazing experience and it helped me tremendously! I came here based on all the 5 star reviews. Firstly the clinic is clean and clam. After explaining all my pain complaints Dr. Joo was nice and explained all that I needed. The first session went smoothly even the massage was really nice, he explained that I needed to buy his teas in order to help me heal, I truly believe in herbs and remedies as I do them myself, but he kept saying without it I won’t heal as good, I’m sure his teas are good and do help many. But he sells them very expensive which I understand that each patient is different therefore not everyone gets the same herbs in their formula as he explains. The sessions after that the needles kept falling off (I did my best not to move) and it hurt more for days each time. The thing is I felt a bit pressured into buying the tea at everyone session which I cannot afford and even so, I’m allergic to some. It would be a good idea if he were to give or sell small samples of it for a lower price so people could try it and make sure no allergic reactions or so. Don’t get me wrong, he’s nice and very respectful. It’s just that, this place wasn’t for me, I felt no better and no benefit just more sore

I came to see Dr. Joo for an exhausting flare up of fibromyalgia. I was in pain, tired and had missed periods. After a few sessions I was seeing great improvement and my period came back. My joint and muscle pain is almost gone. He has treated me with Accupuncture, cooping and his customized herbal tea. I am amazed at the improvement. He knows what he does and is very polite. I have tied short sessions of Accupuncture before but I have seen the greatest improvement with the treatment recommended by Dr. Joo. The herbal medicine are definitely balancing my hormones and I have even lost a few pounds. I can only say thank you so much for improving my quality of life Dr. Joo. Fibromyalgia is complicated but I found good treatment. I can not say thank you enough.

My brother has been under Dr. Joo’s excellent care for the last three months to relieve the pain that he has been experiencing for the last three years in his neck, left shoulder and his left arm and hand. Dr Joo not only helps me with relieving shoulder tightness but also vertigo. As I recovered from jet lag recently, vertigo set in and I was nauseous. It’s an awful feeling. I went to Dr Joo same day and I was surprised how quickly my vertigo disappeared after his acupuncture treatment. I slept really well that day and felt 90% better next day. I will keep comíng back as long as I’m feeling better. Everyone is different so I’m just providing my review based on how I felt after treatment. 😁

I have a serious neck issue and my pain management doctor recommended me to acupuncture. I feel incredibly lucky that I found Dr. Joo. He is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. He always spends time with me understanding where it hurts and if I have any new issues. I've been getting acupuncture for about a year, and I've added cupping for the last 4 months and have felt so much relief. What Dr. Joo has done for my neck pain in one year is 100 times better than what my other doctors have done for me in the past 3 years. Another great thing about Dr. Joo and his practice is you can text to make an appointment and you don't have to wait weeks to get in! I highly recommend Dr. Joo.

My experience with Dr. Joo was great. Under his recommendation, I am taking a herbal tea that has stabilized my mood swings, decreased my menopause belly, gave me more energy, and also improved my sleep. My digestion has also gotten better and I no longer feel bloated. The few hot flashes that I experienced before have stopped.
