Super great school to learn jiu jitsu. Have been taking both my kids here for about 1 year. BEST choice I’ve ever made as a father. Not only has this increased their confidence and tolerance to look at life challenges, it has increased both my children’s bonds as siblings. Not to mention the coaches at this school are LEGENDS in their field. I definitely recommend this school to kids/parents in and outside of this community.

Dropped by to train with a friend and loved what I saw! Brand new, super clean/ modern academy. The black belts teaching were super friendly and welcoming and really like their non-profit mission & commitment to the community/ welcoming anyone who wants to train, regardless of their financial situation (especially East LA youth). Really cool setup and rooting for them.

East LA Jiu-Jitsu is a great place to train, they were welcoming from day one it felt like family. The professors are there for you on and off the mats. I now have been training for a little over a year now. I am grateful for the influence BJJ has put into my life at work, personal and even among peers. BJJ is a journey, it grows on you, it makes those long days feel easier. To me, my biggest gain is that I am less stressed with life, because I now have an outlet, that I enjoy very much. I navigate problems with more ease and critical thinking. Stop by and take that jump on those mats and have your own experience/journey. Osss!
