As a truck driver who’s delivered to multiple military bases—including Fort Irwin and 29 Palms—I can confidently say that Edwards AFB is by far my favorite. The professionalism, efficiency, and overall helpfulness here are unmatched. Unlike other bases where directions are practically a state secret and the standard response to any question is a blank stare or a grunt, the folks at Edwards actually help you.

The security process is thorough (fingerprints, photos, background checks—might as well have applied for a mortgage while I was there), but it’s run so smoothly that it’s hard to complain. They even hand you a map and show you where to go, which is a level of customer service I didn’t think existed in the military.

Special recognition to Gizelle Cardona , who not only made the check-in process seamless but also somehow managed to be incredibly kind and professional while simultaneously looking like she was recruited straight from a modeling agency. My only concern with Edwards is that staffing their security team with models is a serious distraction and could lead to operational inefficiencies—specifically, me missing turns because I’m still thinking about how helpful and stunning the personnel were.

Overall, five stars. Would deliver here again.

Very Rude and disrespectful. Talk down to you like you beneath them. When all your trying to do is your job. This is why America is failing.
They want to be respected but yet are disrespectful and don't give it. I hope they need future engines and parts and I'm the only one available. Because I will tell them no.
They've no respect for veterans. It is what it is.

I recently attended the Edwards Air Force Base Airshow and STEM exhibition and it was awesome. Getting there was without difficulty and access to the base was welcoming. After entering from the West gate we were directed to handicap parking. After a short walk we were politely asked to submit to a quick security screening thru metal detectors and then we boarded a shuttle bus to the main pedestrian entrance. Departing the shuttle we made our way into the STEM exhibition hanger, toured through it and then exited to the large display of static aircraft. There were many vendors, plenty of restrooms and lots of room to watch the airshow from many different vantage points.

We left early and before the completion of the show for the following reasons. Traffic exiting the base was our primary concern. Another reason was no seating - we should have brought folding camp chairs since they were allowed. Additionally there was no shade nor water being offered. The vendors had plenty of beverages to purchase but were very unreasonable (as expected) in price. Nor was there any seating to dine had we purchased any food from the vendors.

Overall we had a good time and a pleasant experience. Next time we'll simply bring our own chairs and a couple bottles of water. Probably could have even brought our own snacks.

If they had plutonium 5 and blitzi chips, ok. But no! I had to go 7 light years on DEISEL! My ship was totaled after that. Also, your planets "doritas" are terrible! Would it be so hard to go to the convenience store on Europa and buy some blitzi chips? Jeez.

Pretty nice place. I did manage to get a tour of the hanger, but after that they put a big needle in my arm and I woke up in the middle of nowhere.

I came from planet EKJ20493 and as soon as I arrived they took my family and I into a testing facility and we got separated. No room service. Food is horrible and hospitality is the worst. I'm never coming to Earth again. Worst vacation EVER!!!!

My stars are for "mysterious" we drove by here and looks like a ghost town! I don't think it's open. They are most likely traveling underground, that's how sneaky our government is!
