The sign up experience is a sham. They're are purposely slow playing sign ups to minimize people actually receiving the promotional offer forcing people to come back and pay higher. They take 1 party every 20-30 minutes for the tour. They have online membership sign up available for every center except Corona. And there is no set opening date yet. They set it up just like a timeshare salespitch or car dealership where they wear you out so they can upsell you more easily. You have to wonder how good the customer service will be after it is finally open.

Unbelievably Slow & Unorganized

I signed up for this gym online during their 1 day sale, but they require you to come in for "verification" before you can actually use your membership. The first time I went in, I waited 30 minutes just to speak to someone, but no one helped me, so I had to leave. When I came back another day, I waited 45 minutes before finally talking to someone.

It’s obvious they make you come in just to try to upsell you on extra services, but if you don’t buy anything, you’re stuck waiting forever just to complete the process. My fiancé tried signing up today and had an even worse experience—he arrived at 11 AM and waited over an hour, only to be told he had to speak to two different people (one for signup and another for verification). There were only two other people waiting when he got there, so there’s absolutely no reason for the process to take this long.

What’s even more frustrating is that the gym doesn’t even open until the end of March, so there’s no rush of people actually trying to work out yet. If they can’t handle basic signups now, I can only imagine how much worse it’ll be when the gym actually opens. Terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this mess.

Edit: 2 hrs later and he still has not been helped.

Edit 2: My housemate tried to sign up today and was told the wait time would be 3 hours. He waited for 2 hours, but since their restrooms aren’t open, he had to drive home (just 4 minutes away in Eagle Glen) to use the bathroom. When he came back, they had removed him from the list without any notice and refused to put him back on the list.

Terrible experience! Front desk wouldn't disclose offer and membership price. Had to wait 30 minutes, and then people who signed up after me got called. Front desk claimed they called my name, but I was sitting right there and didn't hear it. No apology at all, so I just left. Won't return, despite the location being convenient. Also, noticed many staff members chatting at the back, outnumbering visitors.

Went in to try and see the gym, it was busy but I would say signing a waiver is sufficient, I’m not giving my information without seeing the gym first. UFC has a way better process if they’d stop firing the good coaches I would’ve stayed there

The place is nice enough looking and the parking is great.

But I stopped in and asked if I could see the heavy bag area. I was politely told (and I’m not being condescending here. The employee at the desk was pleasant and seemed very nice.) but I was told no. I have to sign up. Then speak with a sales associate. I explained, but I would like to see the area and if it would work for me. Do you have a photo or can you just stand next to me while I peak around the corner?

Again. No. We need you to give us information and speak with a sales associate before we can show you anything.

I’m good. This could have been an annual membership paid up front and I’m happy. But I’m not giving a number and email and getting a 55 minute sales pitch to see the gym.

As is, when showing interest. I already get a few emails, text and mail weekly. I’m not going to elevate that to get even more.

So EoS, as a person with 15 years gym experience, from instructor. Desk. Sales. Management. Group training. Private training and everything to maintenance and cleaning. Take my advice.

If a potential member asks, hey can I see this for 10 seconds.

Don’t stick to the, you need to hear our sales pitch. Sign up. Look at a brochure. Just say, yeah sure. Let me show you.

If it last longer than 10 seconds. Say sorry, you gotta do X and y. Just the rules.

But if it’s less than 10 seconds. As stated. Just go with it. I’ve worked in places that charge significantly and had ridiculous sign up fees. But that quick courtesy gets people in the door and wanting to stay. However, now I’m out the door and I’m good.

If anyone is in the area. Reign fitness is expensive. Sort of. Depends on if you’ve ever paid jiu-jitsu, cross-fit, Muay Thai memberships. But if you’re just working out. Reign in dos Lagos is better. Heck. Planet fitness is probably better. So don’t get upsold and cornered and sign on to sit through some awful awkward sales pitch.

I've come in 5 times to sign up. The wait each time has been ridiculous. I scheduled a phone call and never got called. I then scheduled an in person meeting and I wait in the lobby for 30 minutes before giving up. I never thought signing up for a gym would be that hard.

Had to wait about 15-20 min, which is expected with a brand new gym, but the staff was friendly and the facility has a super open concept. Davonte hooked me up and was able to answer all my questions.
