I've been working with Essence nutrition for over 7 years at this point and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. I started working with them during a time in my life when I was anemic and Monica helped me find foods that felt exciting to me so I could reach a healthy baseline. She also taught me how to pack snacks that are easy to make but have nutritional value, think: nutritionist meets baby sitter...and don't we all need just that?
Throughout the years my program has been tailored to meet my life needs: Marathon training, hormonal fluctuations and even fertility treatments. The essence team is so well versed on such a broad scope of topics that I always feel taken care of by them.

They're also incredibly fun to work with and will not force you to eat anything you don't like, and also respect that popcorn is a food group to you. They never factor in the way your body looks when helping you design a program, which in a city like Miami, is a huge plus.
