This is an amazing business. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely helpful. They only carry the highest quality of products, and they customize tinctures and orders to your specific needs and issues. Their practitioners are excellent. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I went here 2 days ago to replenish my sleep tincture, which I take when I wake up in the night to help me get back to sleep. The tincture is all glycerin based organic herbs. The woman who was helping me said they don’t have any hops in glycerin but there’s not much alcohol in it. I responded that I don’t want an alcohol based tincture. She then told me that the amount of alcohol is like eating a ripe banana. I repeated that I didn’t want that and I asked if there’s anything else that she could substitute that is glycerin preserved. Once AGAIN, she said that with the other ingredients in glycerin, I wouldn’t even notice the alcohol in the hops. As a recovering alcoholic with decades of sobriety, I have actually been at meetings where people have come back to AA after getting drunk because they did something like drink kombucha (which has tiny amounts of alcohol) or nighttime cold medicine. I’m not interested in taking chances and a natural health practitioner should know better than to keep insisting that anyone use a product with even trace amounts of alcohol if they say NO. I won’t shop at Farmacopia again.

I have been to Farmacopia many times. Today I saw Josh Margolis. His skill is remarkable. He has the gift of a healer, the knowledge of a doctor, and the bedside manner of a wise and kind spiritual teacher. I have always experienced him as highly adept at understanding complex medical issues, gentle and effective in his treatments, kind and very respectful. For anyone who is still dealing with health issues related to the fires, I recommend him and the whole staff at Farmacopia in Santa Rosa. They understand toxicity and what is needed to support health. He is also someone I highly recommended to people who have chronic pain or complex health issues and nothing seems to help.
