I've been visiting this gym for a year while in town as a healthcare traveler- this gym is incredibly friendly for travelers and night shifters. No contract necessary. There is 24hour access through an app, with self-sign up, but the owner offered me a key fob which is much more convenient.

The equipment quality has steadily gotten better and the variety has improved. There are dumbbells up to 150#, there is a smith machine, and a decent selection of leg machines. Enough racks I've never had a problem grabbing a spot.

Some of the dumbbells are in poor condition, missing their rubber/chipping. Not a big deal, except they don't sit in the racks well and pose a safety hazard. The weight re-racking culture is subpar, maybe could be helped by more weight trees throughout the gym, but the weights are at least reracked by staff on weekday nights. These are pretty minor complaints.

Nice selection of cardio equipment and a good amount for the size of the gym. Although I'm male, I have recommended the gym to my female coworkers as this is clearly a safe space based on the number of women I see working out here.

The owner is very responsive to texts, very reasonable, and very helpful. 10/10, everything you'd hope for in a small, local business. If I return to the area in the future, this will be my first choice.

A place where you are welcomed and appreciated by everyone. A real family type environment that offer offers Cross Training, Yoga Classes, 24 hour Access and starting price is only at 35. Plenty of racks to use, a wall to climb, rope to climb, cycling, rowing machine, battle rope, everything you need to get you into shape and get that body you want, you can and will find it at Fit Lab. The owner Ray Felix is also the trainer and he makes sure you get your money's worth if you do the group workouts. He is assisted by his lovely wife to be Daisy Chavarria. They also offer nutritional guidance and help you find a meal plan suitable to your custom needs. Ray also is certified to work on your body when you feel your arm hurs, lower back, shoulder, calf, thigh, he will help you correct it as well. Fit Lab, is place you will love to come to and make part of your daily routine. I simply love this place as it is my play ground.

Cancelled my Gym membership because this place is the most Micromanaged gym I have ever came to.. There are signs to make sure you lock the door correctly because he does not fix the door… If you do not scan In correctly Or for some reason your phone does not work you must call the owner to get in Even though you pay MONTHLY.. and will harass you Through Text if you don’t scan. If you are that concerned with People scanning in correctly get a front desk Like every other gym Does.. Doesn’t sanitize the gym correctly.. Doesn’t fix broken gym equipment… Doesn’t even get new gym equipment 90% are all Used and Don’t work efficiently.. Would not recommend to anyone. This places has Gon downhill

Ray, your the best man! Great facility, great staff, great smoothies! You guys have grown so much in the last 2 years, super happy and can't wait get another workout in at your gym while im traveling on the road! This gym has equipment I have never seen at any other gym! Wanna talk about dedication to the industry? This man has it going on! Thanks Ray and staff, see you guys soon!

Love this place. Being 24 hours is amazing. There's tons of parking. The owner is so helpful and kind. Extremely supportive atmosphere. I've come up to a couple people asking for advice or assistance and everyone is so nice and willing to lend a hand when needed.

I was a member of Fit Lab for a little over a year, had to move down south for work. Ray is an awesome gym owner, attentive and very helpful. He does a great job creating a friendly atmosphere and laid-back vibe in the gym. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Salinas area who doesn't like the globo-gym scene.

This is one of my favorite gyms, has everything you would need. Being open 24 hours definitely has its benefits. And if your feeling hungry or need a pick-me-up, they have a Mix-Lab that serves protein shakes and energy smoothies. Updated floor plan with more machines and more weights.
