Cute place. Nice decor. Quality coffee. VERY ample food portions but the food quality was just average at best. My biscuits looked (and tasted) like crack-open can biscuits. And they came out way before my 2 eggs over medium so they were cold before I got to eat them. My husband had a waffle that was just ok

This was hands down the best breakfast I think I’ve ever had in my entire life. You’re in for a real treat if you decide to come here. The staff is amazing and the food is absolutely incredible. Definitely give this place a try. Just a fantastic experience all around.

Make sure you grab one of their maple bacon donuts while you’re here as well!

Not sure where to begin… first of all, I am immediately disappointed by restaurants that won’t do basted eggs. It’s one of the easiest ways to prepare eggs so to me it shows the cooks aren’t all that experienced. Instead I ordered scrambled… When we first sat down one of the first things the waitress told us was that everything in the restaurant was homemade. Let me tell you, these scrambled eggs are absolutely not homemade. They were awful, rubbery, hotel breakfast buffet scrambled eggs. I didn’t eat them. The service was very slow (even tho they were not busy) and the waitress watched intently and awkwardly when it was time to fill in the tip during the payment process. The prices here are simply absurd. They say the reason is that the portions are so large - but the portions don’t need to be so big. Someone at our table ordered the burrito. It was huge but filled mostly with potatoes, very little eggs or chicken (pictured here). Also his meal came out a good 5 minutes after everyone else’s with zero communication or explanation from the waitstaff. I wanted to like this place. It’s a cute name, fun decor, but it just missed the mark in so many ways.

The name of this place gives off the impression that it is more unhealthy than comparable brunch restaurants. In reality, the menu options are not any more unhealthy than those at IHOP, Waffle House, or Cracker Barrel.

The main difference is that here the portion sizes are much larger. I actually ended up taking half of my breakfast home to have for lunch.

The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was tasty.

We are in town visiting family and wanted to find a breakfast spot. We definitely misinterpreted what the name meant but it sold us on going. The food was fantastic and the food portions were generous. The Bloody Mary was delicious and the homemade donuts are to die for. All the staff was super friendly and our waitress Kris was very personable. She noticed my shirt was from a pitbull rescue and that made her happy, so it was really cool! We would come back again the next time we are in town 🙂

My daughter had picked up my sister at the Punta Gorda airport and asked her to stop at a fast food restaurant off Jones Loop Road. They took a picture of the restaurant across the street. So, needless to say, they were shocked by the name. My daughter sent her a picture of the restaurant to her best friend. Her friend replied that her husband and her had eaten there and it was really good food.
I chose to celebrate my sister's birthday there, and the owners make their own food.
The meals are more than one person can eat! My daughter and my sister split a BLT, and my daughter said it tasted like grandma's. I chose a Reuben (which is homemade), and others chose other tasty dishes. I ended up buying two huge homemade donuts made fresh to order. The waitress was great and we didn't have to wait long for the food to come.
Don't let the name of the restaurant offend you because their mission statement is for a good cause. So enjoy the pictures and stop in and enjoy the food and atmosphere!!

Kris was our waitress today, and she was awesome. She helped with the menu, me being a first-timer. The food was all fresh and you could taste it in every bite. I was the only person here with my friend and said, "Don't be surprised if it gets busy," and 5 minutes later, person after person and when we left had people waiting. This is where you should stop for breakfast. Fresh food, fresh faces, colorful walls. It felt like I was sitting around family, not random people.

Absolutely wonderful! Don’t let the name fool you. The best made from scratch like great grandma made food.

We had the maple bacon donut, super gooey, fresh and hot.

I had the Reuben sandwich, it was the best one my husband and I have ever had. Chris/Kris nailed it with her corned beef.

My husband had the corned beef hash. Wow! Definitely a must try place.

Service was great! Thank you! We will be back!
