They are OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Wohoo!!
I heard a rumor and was pleasantly surprised to see it is now Serenity herbal and it’s under new management that took over to try to help out the previous owner and keep the place alive !!

It was really nice and cleaned up yet still a great selection! The owner was really nice and helpful for me to find the herbs I was looking for and the prices were even better !! Such a deal for bulk herbs! He shared with me some future growth ideas and it sounded really cool like there is more to come! It looks great in there and feels so nice and clean! I’m happy that it’s still there for us up north! Nothing like it around ! Super special place!
I look forward to seeing how this place grows and serves the community!

Ok, I have been coming to this place for years and was skeptical about new owners. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they’re respecting the space yet giving it new growth. With all the construction and building in the area, it’s really hard to keep a local spot and not sell out. I think Serenity Herbal is finding a happy medium and the products are clean and affordable. The staff is very helpful too. It’s heartbreaking the original owner had to shut down but the new owners seem to have a lot of heart and want to honor the Garden of the Ancient’s land. ❤️‍🩹

I wish I visited this place in its prime. Darline was great. She’s very respectful of the property and of the previous owner. I was disappointed to learn that the trees in the back of the property were torn down to build a garage. It was odd showing up to the property to see the original house and chapel were left empty and unused, as well as an SUV limo of some sort being parked beside the shop. I saw a sign saying to drive slow because of dogs, but there were no dogs in sight :/ The shop itself had a great selection, but felt commercial and without personality. There’s so much potential to revitalize the aesthetic and life that the previous owner created! I am very curious to see how Garden of the Ancients evolves.

Last time I went they had some cool new stuff in the store! Seems like they’re expanding in what they offer again which is pretty cool. The people working there were really knowledgeable about the products I asked about.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years and I will continue to do so, looking forward to what else you will do moving forward

This place is amazing! Got an allergy tincture and can breathe again without having to leave central Texas! Very knowledgeable staff, impressive inventory, amazing tinctures, and a nice selection of plants. I just wish it was closer to my house.

Loved this place 😊 Carolyn and Zach were so nice I can’t wait to take my friends here. They had a large variety of herbs and herbal mixtures. There are a lot of other items for purchase and it smells like a dream in there.

Came here 5 mins before they closed with a huge order. Rather than being annoyed or mean about it, Caroline was so helpful and professional. She didn't rush us and made sure we got everything we needed. Glad sweet people like her work there.

Do not go here the current owners ruined and destroyed the actual garden of ancients. The people who bought it have no interest in plant medicine or plants. They keep it running to add to there financial gain. It’s now a scam. If you need kratom reach out to a company called, be kind kratom they are the last remaining members of the true garden of ancients and actual plant people.
I worked there under the real owner who put 20 years of his life into that soil and as soon as the new owner bought it from Dave he bulldozed the lower gardens immediately with no concern for the plants and trees that were there, all to put a mechanic shop on it.
