After seeing a few people I know come here and see true results from their trainings, I decided to sign up for personal training with Marvin. After my first training I kid you not, I could not walk the following two days — that’s what I needed, a kickstart back into my fitness journey. Also, great gym. Clean, safe and modern.

Huge shout out to GenElite for the warm welcome at the gym this morning ? The owner and head trainer, Marvin, welcomed me and gave me space to do my own thing, but if I lived in Anchorage, I would definitely be a client. His passion for fitness coupled with laughs and an easy smile would make the hardest of workouts fly by. Also, not to be missed is that this gym is completely spotless! I am a bit of a germaphobe and felt their cleanliness standards were beyond excellent!

Real results. If you’re looking to maximize your physical potential, this is your place! I first started training with Marvin at GenElite soon after having a cesarean, and never thought I would see my abs ever again- wrong! Not only was he fun and exciting to work with, he gave me the skills and knowledge that I needed to become a beast in the gym all while being safe and effective. Marvin and the entire team at GenElite will give you confidence in the gym all while pushing you to your max potential- in whatever goal that may be for you! He will listen to your goals/needs and make a detailed plan for YOU, and be there every step of the way encouraging you to attain that goal.
My personal goal was to compete in my first bodybuilding competition, which wasn’t easy considering just having a baby via cesarean, but I did it and had a blast! I also had a goal of doing it naturally and staying as healthy as possible, no junky supplements or crash diets! I made friends and learned lifelong skills that I will be able to take with me forever.
Since training with GenElite, I am completely addicted to the gym and feel confident!

GenElite’s gym facility is hands down the nicest gym in Alaska! Marvin put so much thought into every detail of the space to ensure that it has only the best equipment out there! Marvin personalizes training and dieting to meet your goals and is constantly motivating everyone around him. 10/10 would recommend his services and space to others looking to dial down and meet their fitness goals.

Marvin's dedication to making GenElite a unique experience for its members is what sets it apart. I searched endlessly for the right gym for me. Initially hesitant, Marvin and his staff quickly put my concerns to rest, and now it feels like a second home. With their top-notch equipment (and new toys being added frequently), GenElite caters to all fitness levels, whether you're new to weightlifting, getting back into weightlifting (like me), or a gym-rat, it's a place that welcomes everyone. I have a lot to learn but I know Marvin and his staff are always willing to answer any questions I have and that's something you don't find a lot of places. I am really appreciative of Marvin and the staff at GenElite, I feel lucky to be a part of this vibrant community and look forward to what's to come.

I've had the pleasure of working out with Marvin for the past 3 years. Marvin is an exceptional trainer who is knowledgeable, strong, hardworking, and motivating.
His ability to design customized workout programs that cater to your individual needs and fitness goals is truly impressive.

I started working out with Marvin a few months ago and have noticed significant physical changes and improvement to my form. He provides great instruction and dedicated plans. He is also an amazing motivator and will push to your highest potential. His gym is definately top tier, clean, and has the best equipment in town.
