I've had a number of massages from Isabella. She is an intuitive and conscientious practitioner and you can tell she really cares about what she does and is in tune with her practice. She brings experience a number of different healing practices to the table, and her massages work on subtle and energetic levels, not just on your muscles. I always feel it's really worth it when I get a massage from Isabella!

Golden Folk is the kind of place you envision in the ideal and then no matter how many times you’ve gone it’s somehow even better. Saying it’s transformative is not an exaggeration. The profound and subtle work permeates in ways I didn’t know possible and the healing from that is lasting and true.

A little piece of heaven on earth. I go to the Golden Folk to see Andrea the acupuncturist whom I can say (after 7 months) is some kind of magician healer. I have always been skeptical to everything, because there’s just too much out there and a lot of it, is just expensive and doesn’t work, unless you convince yourself it does. However, acupuncture with Andrea at the Golden Folk, has changed my perspective about it, because one thing is if you go to get some mental relief, but when you go, trying to find some ease to physical chronic pain and you come out of it feeling at a 90%, then you start believing in it. My condition hasn’t changed, because it requires a lot more, but acupuncture has helped me and improved my every day life, I can go by 3-4 days of the week feeling a bit normal, walking without excruciating pain and that’s a lot.

I’m grateful for this place, for Sonia, for Andrea. Thank you for nurturing a space that holds you as a whole and listens to you, especially when you come completely disappointed in Western medicine. They listen and they genuinely do their best to make you feel better.

I hate to write this review but I hd a really awful massage here 🙁
It felt like fingers grazing on me the entire time even after asking for more pressure. I mentioned places to focus on and they weren’t focused on at all. It was all the same motion on moth sides etc. No intuition was used even in obvious spots. It was one of those massages where you can’t wait for it to finish. I was excited about this spot as well bc I had acupuncture here, which was good. I went with the first available for the massage and I wish I would have known better. The table/room was very warm and we adjusted it a couple of times. Lastly, I pod for a 90 and she finished 12 minutes early! So with all of that considered I have to give it a 3. The massage itself was actually more of a 1-2 🙁 but the place is nice.
