It's been a few days since returning from my trip back home, but I wanted to give a special thank you to Stephanie as she welcomed me to the gym. As a visitor in my homestate, she walked me through the process to obtain a day pass. I appreciate everything she did for me.

I’ve been an employee of Golds Gym in the past for 8 years in the Bay Area so I enjoy visiting other Golds Gyms whenever possible. I visited the Monterey Golds Gym while on vacation for a weekend trip and did the 24 hour guest pass for $20 which is a good deal for Golds. It was so nice I got to visit twice. Staff was fast and friendly. Facility was a little small but had everything I needed for a quick pump. I will return if in the area again for vacation or work.

Very nice gym with excellent equipment, only complaints are there is only one Smith machine and the bathrooms could be cleaner. Especially not having Paper to dry your hands with in the bathroom is annoying.

Excellent condition, friendly staff, no nonsense. The gym community here is laid back and welcoming, the equipment is in good condition, there’s plenty of space to move around, a great array of equipment and the atmosphere is awesome! If you’ve been looking for a good gym, you’ve just found it.

I recently had the chance to visit Gold's Gym, and while I appreciate some aspects of the facility, there are a few key areas that need attention.

Firstly, the location is beautiful and has a great vibe, which I really enjoyed. However, my experience was dampened largely due to the sauna in the men's room being out of order for over four weeks. This is a significant drawback, especially for those of us who enjoy using the sauna as part of our post-workout routine. It's frustrating to see such a key amenity unavailable for such an extended time.

Additionally, I found the WiFi situation rather disappointing. I was informed that the WiFi only works in the front of the gym, which is inconvenient, especially for members who want to stay connected while they work out. It would be great if this could be improved or expanded throughout the facility.

As for the cardio equipment, while it's adequate, the options are limited. The two stationary bikes offered are decent, but overall, the cardio selection felt mediocre. I would love to see more variety and updated machines to enhance the workout experience.

I also had an interaction with the staff regarding the sauna issue, and while I was looking for assistance, I sensed some annoyance from one of the employees. It would be beneficial for the staff to be more aware of ongoing issues such as the sauna and WiFi so that they can address members' concerns with empathy and knowledge.

In conclusion, Gold's Gym has a wonderful setting and the potential to offer a top-notch experience, but with the sauna out of order and limited WiFi access, it falls short of expectations. I hope they can resolve these issues soon and provide their members with the quality experience they deserve. Come on, Gold's—let's fix the sauna and improve the WiFi!

Big shout out to Lilly and Keanu - soooo helpful and friendly. Great gym, well equipped and setting. Real bonus getting 2 visits in 24 hours for $20. 😊😊😊

It is extremely frustrating to cancel a membership with this organization. If you relocate or simply decide to stop attending, be prepared for a drawn-out, bureaucratic process that feels intentionally complicated. The lengthy "processing time" seems designed to waste your time, and the entire experience comes across as a way to extract more money through unnecessary delays. This kind of practice really shouldn’t be allowed.

Well I'm not going to bash this gym
But it located in a Mall. Yes, you need to park in Mall parking area and walk into the mall to entrance. Kinda of silly. It's a nice gym but it's not a Golds Gym. It's a modern gym with Golds gym name.
