We definitely made the best choice coming to Gracie Jujitsu, the idea was just to have our son join for self defense. Until one day sitting and watching Coach Aaron invited us to the mat! It was the best decision and most fun we had together. Today we are happily all enjoying and learning new self defense skills and being part of a great team and academy. If your looking for realistic self defense, the instructors here are the right choice. Johnny Vasquez and his assistant instructor Aaron Trobee have helped me break my preconceived notion that I am too old to consistently train in an effective martial art. At 55 I have found a community and a family of like minded people involved in an effective system promoting a positive lifestyle both on and off the mat. Gracie Jiu Jitsu Apple Valley is a direct Gracie lineage certified Gracie Training Center (CTC) with the Gracie's Headquarters in Torrance CA. Both of my sons, ages 18 and 12 attend regular training at Gracie Apple Valley. It's very satisfying to see them both emerge from their experiences better humans, better prepared, empowered, and confident. They have both made great strides in these qualities due to Johnny and Aaron as their role models. This place is awesome!

We started this week. My daughter is absolutely in love with Jiu Jitsu in just one session, she wanted to do more... next day she went back... and came out saying she thinks the place is fun and she already learned something.

As a parent, I get to watch my very active hyper 4 year old, bounce around, regain focus and participate in the class right away, she was included immediately. Instructors are fun, patient, and very good with little kids. Very happy to be part of this program!

Love this gym! My daughter and I have been training there for a couple months now. She is five and in the bulletproof program I have seen a boost in confidence and respecting from her. Jiu Jitsu for me has always been a challenge because I have cerebral palsy coaching staff as well as other team members are more than willing and capable to help me figure out ways to adapt the movies that are difficult! I could go on and on about how amazing this place is!

My two daughters have been attending Gracie Jiu Jitsu Apple Valley for over a year now. From the moment we stepped through the doors we felt welcomed. The Bully proof program my girls are enrolled in is amazing and the instructor Aaron is beyond great with all the kids. My daughters have both grown and become so confident in themselves. They LOVE coming to class! After watching them enjoy it so much I have also joined! I take the Women Empowerment class as well as the Combatives class. I too LOVE attending class. If you are looking to get involved in a gym that cares about its students, is professional and has top notch training this is the place for you! I can't thank Johnny enough for creating such an amazing place to train!

Awesome experience. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The class was taught at a great pace and everyone was very friendly. The facility is very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the experience so much that I signed up on my first visit. I highly recommend checking this place out for anyone wanting to learn Gracie Jiu jitsu.

This place is amazing! From the moment I spoke with Johnny I felt good and at ease knowing my son would be getting into a great gym and have so much support and knowledgeable instructors to help him on his journey to self defense. We went in and right away were welcomed with open arms and the place was very clean! Aaron was super awesome spoke to my son and made my son feel very comfortable, safe and happy. Love the way they teach and how great they are with the kids. My son has tried other places but this one stood out and is definitely the place he feels is for him and so do I. Glad we chose Gracie and highly recommend it! Cynthia was also a total sweatheart and super helpful !
