Very professional academy, coach mark and team, teach children discipline, respect and focus, on all they do. I love how they treat the children, they don't leave one behind, and take the time to teach them, so they will be at same knowledge level. My son just love attending to his jiu jitsu training. I would highly recommend this self-defense academy to family and friends. ❤👌

All 3 of my kids attend this Jiu Jitsu school and they love it. The head coach Mark is very friendly and welcoming. My kids really enjoy him and the assistance Maria. The other kids and parents are a very open and welcoming community, and we attend each other's parties and tournaments for support. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to have their child develop good social skills, self-confidence, the ability to defend themselves and get tired.

My son has been coming here for about 3 months now and he absolutely loves it! I love the structure, the discipline and the energy he burns in here! Coach Mark is patient and understanding and structured. My sons self esteem has definitely improved and I love that this place is a safe space! Anti bullying and it feels like a family in here. Everyone looks out for each other. He has even taught my son with special needs (my son just didn't like that they have to run as a warm up). Thank you Coach Mark for welcoming my sons. 10/10, I recommend this place!!

We’ve been a part of Gridlock for about 7 months now and we absolutely love it. The coaches are very knowledgeable and patient. My 6 year old daughter has become more confident and fearless. She really enjoys coming to class. My 7 year old son has come out of his shell and is starting to really enjoy learning. He was very shy and didn’t want to participate at first. Coach Mark was very patient and understanding, over time my son gained confidence and feels good about himself. I’m very grateful to have come across this gym. We saw our kids enjoying it so much, my husband and I decided to join the adult class. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to properly learn the technique of jiu jitsu.

Our son Noah has been coming year over a year. We love Coach Mark and Coach Maria. Coach Mark knows how to discipline these goods. We have seen a great improvement with our son the way he can stay focused. This class will teach them how to self control and confidence. If you want a place for jitsu , enroll your child they will have a great experience and learn.

We love Gridlock Academy for our daughters! Coach Mark emphasizes self-defense and anti-bullying techniques more than competition (though he does offer that as a separate class) that other schools we've been to seem to focus too much on. Coach Mark takes the time to teach discipline, focus, respect, anti-bullying life lessons, and safety for fellow students. Coaches Jorge and Maria are also excellent. We've seen the improvement in our girls in the months they've been training and feel confident that they'll be able to defend themselves if the need ever arises.

My son Noah has been training here for the past year and it’s been such a great experience. My sons level of confidence has risen so much due to mental and physical challenge Jiu-Jitsu brings. Coach Mark has a very good approach of hard work mixed with fun rewards for the kids. My son also has no fear of dealing with a school yard bully if the situation arises. Great place to learn!

My daughter has been taking classes for over a year at Gridlock Academy and has shown major improvements in her self confidence, socializing, listening, and coordination skills. The coach is patient and is great with demonstrations. He breaks down all the moves into segments so that the kids are able to get an understanding of what they are being shown. He also explains the hazards and importance of what is appropriate and inappropriate for self defense. My daughter has told me multiple times that she has used the anti bullying skills in real life settings at school.
