Someone needs to tell the mom clique on mondays, that they need to leave room for others to get to the bathroom. They block the bathroom in the front AND the middle row. And you cannot get through the exit without going through those rows which lead to a small walkway. Super selfish. We all have kids, why make them wait longer than they should? And they don't listen when you say "excuse me" over and over.

Everytime we come here theres agroup of women who block the only entry to the bathroom. They know what they're doing and shouldn't have to be told anything, but here we are. I'm pregnant I got kids who shouldn't have to hold it. Let's be real. Please put a sign up reminding people the world doesn't recolve around them!! I can't imagine how someone in a wheelchair would feel in this situation.

Absolutely APPALLED in this studio this facility and this staff. My toddler who just turned 4 walked in with his father to attend a trial class. While my husband was waiting to complete the paper work my son was very excited and hyper about starting the class. The owner gave him NO chance to try the class. Accused my son of needing to be in a special needs class and then told him that he can not attend the trial class. And turned my son and husband away within 4 minutes of walking into the studio. My son attends pre school and another dance studio and has never had any issue with his behavior or listening skills. He was just in a brand new place and excited to take his first class and instead was bullied, and turned away within 4 minutes of my husband walking in the door and 10 minutes before the trial class even began. Given him ZERO chances to try the the trial class(which the entire point of the trial class is to literally see how it goes). Not only did he accuse my son of needing a special needs class they took what excitement they saw beaming from a four year old and turned it into something negative and identified this studio as a place I wouldn’t want my children at anyways.

My daughters have been going to Hot Spot Gymnastics for years for both Team and Recreation gymnastics. I recommend them to children of all ages interested in gymnastics whether it be for competition or just exercise and discipline. They will have a great experience and make friends too!

Priya was 5 when she first tried a rec class at Hot Spot Gymnastics at the same time as her 3 year brother in July of 2017. Her brother excelled and moved up into higher skill levels pretty quickly and gave him the option to move up or stay with kids his age rather than skill level. You and your child are in control of advancement with their recommendations, of course. My daughter was so shy when she started that she begged not to go back after only 3 practices. After watching her brother for a year, she decided to go back and I'm so glad she did because the personal growth as well as growth in skills is invaluable. She has learned to not judge herself by what others do. She has learned that she always improves with practice. She has learned it's ok to come out of her shell with those she trusts. She has learned that giving her 100% may look a bit different from another's 100% and "You Do You". Coach Brittany challenges each gymnast individually as well as a whole team to reach their full potential. Although Priya is not one to talk much, Brittany has learned how to work with her. Brittany's been able to see her capabilities and push her to do her best. Priya's teammates are always cheering each other on with encouragement from Coach Brittany to do so. This little girl pushes through pain, pushes through doubt and believes in herself to keep going.  Coach Brittany teaches these girls to know what they're capable of,  know they can always push themselves to improve and know they can trust themselves. Without this personal growth and skill training, my 8 year old daughter wouldn't have had what it takes to win the 2021 AZ State Championship for her level.

My child was in the parent tot class for a while, we took a break for about a year and started back up recently. Great place, friendly coaches and my daughter had fun most of the time. Main reason we are probably quitting the classes is that my daughter (age 5) cannot get over her fear of the high beams. She's willing to do just about everything else but the heights scare her too much. This place is great I highly recommend it.
Only reason it's 4 stars is the parking situation sucks.

The teachers/ coaches at hot spot gymnastics are so amazing. They are so good with my kids and never make them feel like they are being judged. The judgment free atmosphere, and the way the meet my kids where they are at and work with them from there to improve in a healthy way really goes a long way with me. They also encourage hard work and push them to achieve new heights. Great for my kids! Thanks guys! Yall are wonderful!

Hot Spot is my first gymnastics experience and I'm glad i chose here. It's a family owned place and the instruction is fantastic. Being a personal trainer myself i know the value of experience when teaching. The instructors are accomplished gymnasts themselves and have been invaluable in my journey as a total amateur. Oh almost forgot, my six year old son loves it too!
