I was at my Pilates class and I noticed that my right neck and shoulder was tight and I couldn’t bend it. I came in and Hermes did a rapid release treatment and whola my neck and shoulder was relaxed. He is absolutely an amazing therapist. Now I’m doing the leg compression and Jonathan set me up. What I loved about Jonathan was he educated me on what these machine were doing to my body’s system. I was so cool to understand the purpose of these machine. I always end with the hydro water massage as it is so soothing. I LOVE this place and everyone is so nice, personable and professional. I’m trying now to figure out how I can make this place part of my daily regimen with Angelica who is great.

The HOC is a lifesaver. As a competitive endurance athlete I was constantly sore and struggling to recover. The HOC is a one-stop shop for all your recovery needs: ice chamber, compression, red light therapy, infrared sauna and more. I’ve been going here for over six years and I have gratefully been mostly injury free thanks to this place. Tim, the owner, really knows what he’s talking about and is an expert that still seeks new knowledge on bio hacking the body. I always leave feeling significantly better. Highly recommend for anyone needing recovery from sports, injury or chronic pain. A+ facility.

I am generally skeptical, so it took a few visits before I couldn’t deny the results. Sleeping soundly, looking good, and feeling amazing could no longer be chalked up to coincidence. I really enjoy it because it's the anti-gym. You never get tired of going there with the different options. Whether it's red light therapy the cryo freeze, It's a chance to clear your mind. Jonathan is really nice and supportive.

Having dealt with chronic injuries from a lifetime of sports, military service and personal health related injuries, I was not looking forward to the possibility of yet another surgery to alleviate the chronic ankle tendinitis I had incurred over the years. I’ve tried multiple remedies, such as physical therapy, sports wraps (aka taping), pain meds and so on with no discernible or long lasting relief. I came upon an ad for HOC (human optimization center) in Walnut Creek and decided to give them a try, which is the BEST thing I could have done, without a doubt. I’ve been working with the clinic for over four months and I can honestly say it is the best investment I made as the nagging, sometimes debilitating ankle pain, has been reduced to where I’m able to return to an activity that I thought I would never be able to do, trail running. Furthermore, my goals of playing professionally was tabled due to this chronic injury, but now I am able to train at the level & intensity required to make a real go at competing at the highest level. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, professional and supportive, to say the least. So, if you’re dealing with a chronic injury and are looking for a non invasive alternative to pain management and possible elimination, I HIGHLY Recommend giving HOC a try. As an active person or athlete, you owe it to yourself to recover the best way possible and HOC is an added plus to any program.

I’ve tried this 3 times and such an amazing experience! I was an in accident a few weeks ago and my lower back pain has been crazy. I feel so much better after treatment not to mention my the tightness in my hips! It’s been a while since I’ve felt this relief event with chiropractic treatment.

The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They have the best Cryo machine I’ve seen in the greater Bay Area and lots of additional services that I’ve taken advantage of including red light therapy, waterbed massage, and compression. After coming here over a few visits, I’ve experienced much improvement with pain and range of motion and I sleep much better after my visits.

I recommend the contour red light therapy. After 16 sessions, I not only lost inches but my skin was softer, lower back pain gone and sleeping much better. The owner and entire staff are so friendly and supportive. If you are needing to manage pain and don’t want to rely on prescription meds, this is a great and healthy alternative that really works! 🙂
