Be careful when signing up and read the contract very carefully, otherwise you'll be made to pay $1300 before you cancel your membership ?

I canceled my membership after 2 months because I just couldn't take it anymore. The place is super grimey and totally and completely unsanitary and the owner doesn't know how treat people. The other comments about this place are 100% true. The owner walks into the women's locker room when there are women using it and he closes the place hours before he is supposed to and just makes people leave. There were so many reasons i was thinking about canceling my membership but the final straw for me was the other day when I was in the steam room which is located in the back of the women's locker room - it is not shared with men. The women have their own and the men have their own, and it is right next to hot tub and the showers which have no shower curtain or door and at any moment a woman could be dressing in the locker room or taking a shower. But in the middle of the day a man who works there walked all the way through the women's locker room and opened the door of the steam room. I'm not sure why or what on Earth he was thinking but then he walked away fast when I said Oh my GOD. I was so shocked and couldn't believe that actually happened. Then, a couple days later the owner, Abe, was right outside of the steam room asking if there was anyone there. I said "yes" and he rudely said "we close at 5" which is an entire hour before the gym is supposed to close, and I had just arrived at the place not that long before. No prior notice, nothing. Not too long after that he hung right outside the locker room door saying "You almost done? You almost done?" rushing me out then had the nerve to tell me to enjoy the rest of my night when I was leaving. I was so angry I just stared at him. The owner has run off everyone who works at the front desk, other employees and from what I've heard he has run off a lot of customers too and I'm not surprised at all.

Thankfully my membership was through my insurance so I don't even have to deal with anyone from the gym and run into the hassle of being in a contract that they try to stretch out and continue to charge me for. All I had to do was log into my account on my insurance company's website and click cancel membership and that was that.

No one with any self respect would go to that gym and stay there. You want to go to a gym to feel good instead of a place like this that actually adds to your stress and anxiety because the place is filthy and falling apart or because you're being rushed or whatever else. If this was the only gym in town then it would be more understandable why someone would use it. But there are other options in kingman that are 1000 times cleaner, cheaper, friendlier, operate according to their posted hours and where you dont have to worry about having your privacy violated.

Can we say SLUM This place is so dilapidated it's ridiculous. There are holes all over the ceiling that leaks when it rains - you can see all of the trash cans, especially in the racquetball area thats there to catch the drops. The equipment looks like it hasn't been updated since 1932 and the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a good 10 years with dust and grime all in the corners, mold and who knows whatever else is on the walls. The pool is so disgusting, with broken tiles, windows with condensation and mold I cannot ever imagine even dipping my little toe inside of it or in the hot tub which is the same way. The showers are NEVER cleaned, they dont even change the trash bags they just dump it out, and have reused the same bags for only god knows how long- it is very obvious.

MEN, INCLUDING THE OWNER, WALK INTO THE WOMEN'S LOCKER ROOM WHEN THERE HAVE BEEN WOMEN IN IT. I've seen it with my own eyes. I literally saw a man walking out of there in the middle of the day, hurrying probably to avoid being seen but I saw him. He wasn't a patron either, he was someone that did some type of work in the place who knew better. I once overheard a woman complaining that the owner walked in on her and her young daughter when they were both in there naked, and that was appalling. They always close hours before they're supposed to and kick people out hours before the gym is supposed to close, often without warning. I'm not sure how this place is still even open since I'm sure its a health hazard. Not to mention the owner has no concept of customer service or people skills. I'm not sure what I was even thinking about signing up. I have so much regret.

I still have a toenail with fungus from that place. I have had it since I was 20. I’m 45 now. The Saunas were disgusting. Abe is also a contract con artist. He would always manipulate young kids into signing things they did not understand.

I guess I'm not the only one the says this place is disgusting. The pool with broken tiles and the mold and mildew. I asked to rip up my contract when I got cut coming out of the pool on a broken tile. The showers need cleaning, now they sent me to collections. Hummmm, really? I should keep going back when this place is a hazard zone. Got hurt once, dont want to get sick or worse. Yeah, dont wanna be swimming in the pool when the ceiling comes down. Paint doesnt cover up mold. It's still there.

I like it, it’s kinda old, and there’s some mold in the mens shower. But if you’re not exposed to stuff you’ll never build up your immune system. I love the older Weight room It smells and feels familiar. Steam, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Great price! Fun friendly folks.

Place so dated it's falling down. Tiles and plaster falling off walls, pool needs serious resurfacing, hot tub ancient with No caution signs, could have injured myself from steps. I was here to evaluate, now the insurance will know how dangerous this place is. Unsanitary person at front desk sticking hands in bag of chips for customers. "Disappointed" is not close to being strong enough

The first week, there was mold on the ceiling in the men's hottub. I complained and complained. Nothing was done so I tried to get out of my contract. He would not let me out and a month later he repainted. The pool is old, the gym is old, the walls in the racquet ball courts are really bad, and the equipment is way outdated. It is for old people to sit and have coffee.
