I have been seeing Hana Lee for acupuncture for a couple years now, when she was practicing as a student in the clinic at AIMC and now having graduated and establishing her own practice, Left Hand Healing. She is such an incredibly intuitive healer and I always leave her office with such a sense of ease and relaxation. Acupuncture/herbs have helped me sleep better, combat stress, muscle tension, and breathe easier. Hana has taken the time to understand my body+mind and has always met me with attentiveness and care. If I could give Hana 10 stars I would! I first began seeing Hana when she was a student at AIMC in Berkeley, and was very sad when she graduated last Winter. Now she is fully licensed and has her own practice which I am thrilled to recommend to other people. She is everything I could hope for in an acupuncturist: knowledgable, friendly, compassionate, professional, and punctual among many other wonderful traits. When I first began working with her, I felt that not only did we connect well, but she was able to provide some much needed stability within my wellness journey (I have severe asthma and migraines). Hana is very thorough and I've always felt her treatments benefited me and were well thought out. She is also very receptive to my suggestions. Having not seen her in between Dec 2019 and August 2020, I was so touched by the fact that she really remembered me on a personal level and she also remembered the status of my health from when I had worked with her the previous winter. Hana is one of those special acupuncturists that is a true healer. Not all acupuncturists come the same, and I feel the good ones possess something that can’t be taught and must be innate and felt. Her treatments give me immediate relief—she healed a tendon injury I’d been resting and tending to for months within a week of treatment. I had a labor induction session and LITERALLY gave birth within two hours!! Though I know those results can’t be guaranteed for everyone, I can attest that she has the touch and skill to tap into the right meridians to stimulate what your body needs to be in optimal health and harmony. She was invited to stay with me and attend my birth and my midwife involved her clinically postpartum and had only shining things to say about her as well. My partner also sees her for treatment and we are so grateful to have found her. He is so relaxed after a session that he sometimes has trouble even staying awake. Her treatments are the only thing that are effective in helping him cope with high stress. I could go on and on! She’s the best.

Last year I suffered from a pinched nerve resulting in some really awful back pain. I went to Hana for acupuncture and it was the extremely helpful in my healing. A few weeks ago I visited her at Left Hand Healing for acupuncture and cupping to treat general muscle tension and was so happy with the results. Hana has been a huge help in my healing process with an eczema-like rash on my leg. I had tried all sorts of western "over the counter" products and nothing was giving me results. The combination of regular (weekly) acupuncture treatments and the herbs and topical cream she prescribed me has shifted it completely in just a few weeks- it's close to being gone after previously struggling for 6 months!
