Count my wife and I as fans of Mercy at Life Giving Acupuncture & Herbs. We have been seeing Mercy from late August to early November 2023 for stiffness and tenderness in my wife’s legs due to vasculitis. We have been to other acupuncturists so we have a basis of comparison. The first thing we noticed was how detailed Mercy’s initial exam was. Using all this information, she honed in on exactly what kind of acupuncture therapy would yield maximum results. You could tell that her level of expertise was in the major leagues compared to other acupuncturists my wife has been to, a level which only comes with a passion for her healing art. Mercy places the needles with pinpoint accuracy for maximum benefit. On top of this, Mercy coached us on several simple but effective exercises that my wife could do to improve her condition. Mercy recommended dietary changes that have made remarkable improvements in our health. All in all, our entire experience with Mercy has revealed that she is a human being who sincerely cares about her patients and their overall health. My wife feels stronger, walks better, and feels more confident than she did before she began treatment with Mercy. We highly recommend Mercy for anyone considering acupuncture.

Oh boy. I just can't say enough positive things about Mercy and her practice. I wish I could give her 10 stars!
Her level of professionalism and thoroughness is bar none the best I've come across. The initial consult is incredibly detailed which I appreciated. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and her technique is amazing.
I will definitely be referring her.

Coming to Life Giving Acupuncture was the best decision I’ve ever made. I started seeing Dr. Mercy at a particularly stressful point in my life and felt my body slowly deteriorating with one health issue after another. She immediately diagnosed my condition simply from looking at my tongue and talking through my symptoms. I’ve been seeing her for a little over a month and I’m already feeling so much better. Unlike a typical doctors office, she actually spends time with you to carefully listen and answer any and all questions. She’s experienced, knowledgeable and truly a healer.

Mercy is very good at what she does. I can tell she has a special gift as well as the training. I started just over 2 months ago for foot pain that my podiatrist said I would just have to live with and probably would never be able to use stairs without pain. Luckily, my Kaiser podiatrist gave me a referral so I could seek acupuncture for chronic pain which would be covered by my insurance. I am very pleased with my progress with acupuncture. Mercy has reduced my overall pain from about an 8 to a 3 and I can do stairs with minimal pain. So this is definitely a win and worth it. I've gotten a more active lifestyle back that includes walking, hiking, yard work and stairs!

I am familiar with herbal medicine as I've had it often growing up but not acupuncture. After having a baby, I was (and still am) so tired but my wrists started hurting so I sought out acupuncture to see if it will help, landing me at Life Giving Acupuncture mainly due to proximity and great reviews. I initially got several treatment sessions for my wrists covered by insurance which caps treatment for 15 minutes but ultimately decided on a package treatment for my overall body as Mercy's assessment stated I was in poor condition, which I agreed with bc I can feel how weak my body was.Truthfully, I don't like needles but each session made me feel so much better for me to overcome my fear of needles. And I general enjoyed my visits with Mercy because she is so compassionate, caring, and relieved tension in different parts of my body with her techniques. My sessions are over now but I plan to come back after I start working and also bring my family members who are fatigued and have body aches. I truly believe that taking care of your body from the inside is an investment and getting these treatments really make you start thinking of your well being and how connected your body is and how important different parts of your body are... like your belly button. I highly recommend acupuncture to enhance circulation and relieve pressure.I didn't know this but there also is fertility treatment to help prep your body for conceiving.
