The office and waiting area are neat, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cheyenne is compassionate, nonjudgmental, supportive and empathetic, making it easy to talk about tough life situations. She has helped me navigate through an extremely difficult period and I thank God for guiding me to her.

I wasn't planning to leave a review until they called me today out of the blue soliciting me after a year. Now, I am reading that they are also soliciting good reviews up front from new patients to boost their ratings online. WOW. Since when do medical professionals call you out of the blue to solicit business or give you a QR code when you walk in the door to boost reviews?! Nonetheless, please read on.

At my first appointment, Cheyenne brought up reviews and told me to ignore them because people just didn't like when she told them the truth. It was weird she would initiate that given I hadn't even looked at any reviews after being referred there, but ok. It went downhill from there. Appointments were missed with no explanation, she spent my "therapeutic time" telling me about her own issues and justifying her personal beliefs that were different from mine, and was extremely unprofessional on many levels. I have since discussed the specifics with a family member who is a licensed social worker and with two other licensed therapists, who all reassured me that she was highly unprofessional and that her behavior was unacceptable in the realm of mental health practices. During one of my visits I was scheduled with the staff doctor, there were two other people (non-medical) in the room instructing him on what medications to prescribe, really? What is the point of the doctor? I suppose to simply add his signature and license number to their prescriptions? It was just odd, very odd. My entire experience with this place was weird beyond measure, and a huge waste of time and resources when I needed help dealing with trauma.

Luckily, I finally found a wonderful, professional therapist at Garrett Counseling in Albertville who does remote video sessions, and I am getting the help I needed with my depression and PTSD. My new therapist isn't worried about soliciting Google reviews or calling patients to drum up more income for their practice either. I would highly recommend Garrett Counseling and would RUN from Limestone!

I’m completely satisfied with the psychiatric care that I received but the management and billing process is completely unprofessional and disorganized. The practice has an extremely high turnover of employees and leaves their billing of insurance problems to their patients causing high stress and anxiety to people who are already dealing with emotional problems. The practice is incapable of resolving their own issues and tend to fire employees and then hire more employees with the apparently same inabilities. Therapist as a general rule needs psychiatric treatment herself. I stopped therapy because phone appointments were never fulfilled (90 percent of the time), in person visits consisted of damning my son who is also a patient or, talking about the therapist’s personal problems. The only good thing I can say about this practice is regarding the psychiatrist and he needs to find a better establishment to practice.

These people will over prescribe medications in dangerous amounts and without reason. They should be shut down!! One therapist there is absolutely insane and will mess up your entire life. Do not go here!

I would give zero stars, staff definitely seemed judgmental and uncaring to me. Some were decent. They always focused on my dad or the other I brought with me. They then violated HIPPA by calling my mother and telling her what I said privately. This also happened with my friend. It would be different if I was a child but in Alabama law I have the right to my own information at my age and the age I was then.
