Booked an appointment with Dr Trias. Took an hour off of work that I will not get paid. Drove 40 minutes. Arrived to an empty office. Stepped back out and double checked the address. Went back in and called out and a woman came out. I asked if this was Dr Trias office and she responded yes but the doctor is not in today. She asked if I was certain I had my day correct. I showed her the text reminder I had received the day before. She called Dr Trias in private and informed her that I was there. She came back out and said that she had written down next Tuesday and was sorry. The woman said Dr Trias would call me.

I received a text message with an 2 word apology and said she would re book me. I received an email later showing my new appointment. I waited another day thinking she was a professional and would absolutely call like she said but no call.

I find it very unprofessional for a healthcare provider to not pick up the phone and actually speak with her client , who she hadn’t met. It’s a very immature response and something that is done to not take ownership of her mistake. Basically it’s just an “oops”. I lost an hour of my pay and 2 hours of my time.

My recommendation…don’t bother
