Northside Athletics promotes a wonderful atmosphere, great high quality workout equipment, wonderful trainers/coaches, and amazing teen programs. I love the family feel when you walk in, the staff is friendly and welcoming. This is true my the best gym in Alaska. Come check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Friendly and welcoming strength gym no matter what your level of fitness. Coaches are knowledgeable and meet you where you’re at, and listen to what your goals are. I love that on any given day you see a range of ages and abilities working out. Great atmosphere for working out!

I began online/remote training in June, and had an in person session as well. The physical results have been amazing. I am stronger, healthier than ever. But the best part of my experience has been dealing with the people there. Elisabeth and Matt are exceptional. Truly: And the vibe around the gym is positive and inclusive. I’ve been to many different gyms in my life and Fairbanks is extremely lucky to have access to a gym like Northside. It is set up to do almost anything you could think of doing in a gym, but more importantly the environment is great. I feel at home at Northside.

Started lifting with the owner in his garage and have been at the gym ever sense. I have watched the gym grow into what it is now. The owner is very hard working very dedicated on not just improving a persons strength but health and wellness. There is no better gym in Alaska and it is the only quality gym in Fairbanks. The atmosphere is amazing everyone is friendly and welcoming. In my opinion this is the best gym in the world. Come and get a membership I promise you will not be disappointed.

Matt created a gym unlike any other in Alaska, maybe even in the states. Can do anything here, but it’s geared towards the Strongman/Powerlifter.

And then you have your coaches. Their top notch programming will get you right. Aimee is by far my favorite coach. Her one on one’s will make sure you get the fundamentals correct; and then you’ll sweat in her classes.

Can’t beat this gym. It’s my peace of mind from the chaos of everyday life In the world.
