I highly recommend naturopathic doctor, Julie Harden! She is science based, does her research, and is one of the best in this area for holistic medicine.
Dr Harden is very thorough on her intake and her staff is amazing. Ashley calls me back when she says she’s going to and I really appreciate that! They are very Patient focused. She was referred to me by my compounding pharmacy so she is well known in this area and does my bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

I have never spent so much money for such little improvement or guidance regarding my GI issues. Dr. Harden often spoke so fast and never explained things in a way that was comprehensible or helped me better understand my health issues. It was always nearly impossible to schedule follow-up appointments due to the ridiculous number of patients that she crams into her schedule. Not the mention the fact that Dr. Harden never followed up herself on my treatment plan or the medications/supplements she recommended taking. I have a very difficult time believing that she genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of any of her patients over simply making money. When I originally posted this review, Dr. Harden actually called me on my phone and requested that I take down the review because “it’s bad for business.” If any doctor is concerned with a negative review primarily because it affects their “business,” then that simply speaks volumes about their priorities as a practitioner. Healthcare and treating patients is NOT a “business.” You will feel treated more like a condition than a patient here. There are far better doctors and practices out there, do not bother wasting your money.

Dr Hardin takes a thorough approach to health and looks at the greater picture as opposed to the basics. She takes her time with each appointment. She crafted a plan for me and I followed it to the letter and changed my labs by 70% in my favor. She’s realistic, honest, caring and by far my favorite Dr I’ve seen to date. The thought of visiting yet another doctor to help me with autoimmune issues and digestive issues was daunting but upon meeting Dr. Harden and having a high success rate in my healing, I am confident she will help me heal completely.

If you want quality care, I have learned that I have to pay out of pocket. I've been doing this though since I was in my 20's due to my compounding issues. I know what it takes to be committed to my health and know when and how to schedule my appointments. I also utilize Dr. Harden's patient portal to stay informed about my health plan and to ask minor questions. She ALWAYS responds in less than 24 hours. I never had this with any doctor. She also doesn't push extra supplements. She even told me that if I had supplements from other practitioners that I could bring them in and run them by her so that they get used up.

I recently bought supplements for my husband from a nutritionist in Orange County and told her about my experience with Dr. Harden. The nutritionist said that Dr. Harden has always been well known for how good she is. I love that I know this for myself but people in the community know her reputation as well. It's so helpful because I don't live in Orange County so I love hearing who comes highly recommended. If you have any health issues...mysterious ones at that or even compounding issues, please see her. You will be led down a path of healing, success and a paradigm shift as you see how lifetime symptoms disappear/get healed with her care.

I have never spent so much money for no return and bad customer service.
1. I paid 350$ for an initial consultation.
2. I paid over $1300 for tests.
3. One of the tests involved giving 26 vials of blood. I was on the verge of passing out. The woman (lab tech) who did it poked me 8 places over the course of 2 hours to get the blood. At the end I asked her for food because she had 1 little energy bar and she said "you can't have that. it's for people who pass out'. I went to the parking lot afterwards and fell asleep or passed out in my car. I drove when I woke up shaking cold to Nordstrom to buy a sweater to warm up. I drove home and slept the rest of the day.
4. I have been fighting with their vendors since August (that is now almost 8 months) because I am billed over and over for charges I have paid and the amount of time I've wasted dealing with all the labs and vendors I wish I could sue them for to recoup (excess of 40 hours over 8 month period).
5. What is the benefit of this money and time? F_ING NOTHING. I have zero to show for all of this.
6. I have never been to a holistic doctor before and I never will again. This place was "recommended to me" by a trusted professional and I have had nothing but frustration, anger and money out the door for zero benefit. At a minimum, this office should be responsible for dealing with, managing, and fighting with all the stupid labs and vendors they send their clients' samples to, because that alone would have saved me dozens of hours.
7. During this mandatory quarantine, I am STILL SPENDING MY TIME FIGHTING WITH THEIR VENDORS who are billing me for services I HAVE PAID FOR.
8. I have not received a single piece of beneficial advice for all my time and money. I called and complained about this and was told by the office that I would have to go back there and spend another $500 to "get the results of my tests."
9. I can follow their suggestion, or buy snake oil, or donate money to charity.
10. I chose the later and donated money to save 2 animals from clinical testing labs. Had I never wasted my time and money on this racket, I could have saved 8 animals from clinical testing labs and felt better about being a human being.
