This review is for the individuals who, like myself, are/were curious about the weight loss claim and tea that many people are interested in knowing more about. So getting straight to the point does the program/ tea work, depends. If you follow this program to the EXACT point, you will see great results from the program. However, here is the reality. For the many people wondering about the detox tea, it's not a miracle drink that allows you to eat whatever you want and lose weight. The tea is exactly what it's described as, a detox. You WILL have more frequent bowel movements and the pills are designed to make you flush out your system via urine. So here's why I'm giving this a three star review. Essentially, there's three things you will receive should you decided to commit to Dr. Zhou's program. A weight loss plan, herbal pills and the detox tea. The weight loss plan he gives you basically cuts down your calories to either a extremely low amount or low amount. Case and point, my plan required me to only eat 1200 calories a day. On average, a person who is obese/overweight likely eats more then 2800 calories a day. So just by cutting 1600 calories without using the tea, you're going to lose weight. The tea is like the added cherry on the cake by cleaning out your system via frequent bowel movements. My original hope with the tea was that it was some type of appetite suppressant because in the meal plan it requires you to be hungry. I'm not joking, in bold text it states that you will be hungry due to the number of hours later you eat your meals and thus you are to drink a small amount of tea in that period. Additionally, to pay $125 for a tea that will last you about 12 days, it seems like a bit of a waste and pricey. Just by cutting your caloric intake down to create a caloric deficit is all it takes to lose weight, which is what the meal plan requires. So why exactly does a tea that doesn't even suppress your appetite need to cost $125? You can find similar teas that do the same thing on Amazon. Again, this program will work if you follow the meal plan to the point, but you will be hungry and possibly miserable. Also, not trying to bash/attack the other reviewers but I do find it interesting that if the tea has successfully worked, why is it still being purchased once you've reached your results?

For the past 8 years I have tried several weight lost programs and some worked with slow progress. I talked with a co-worker regarding the detox tea. He highly recommended it to me and would not hurt to try it. On Jan 2, 2016...stopped and purchased the tea. Within the first 2 full days using not just the tea but the diet plan lost 6 pounds. From the time I started it to the end of the first week of March 2016..lost 44 pounds. My energy, positive attitude regain strength, and assisted me by suppressing my urge to eat. Now I did not believe the detox tea would be that successful assisting me with weight lost. I only drank 6 Oz of tea a day after the first 6 days. I also learned serving size on the food labels when reading how many calories the product truly has. Been off the tea since the end of the first week of March and have been fighting to maintain. Went out and bought 6 different types of tea to try it and see if I would get the job done like the detox teta. Well, gained 14 pounds back so, I have purchased another gallon of detox tea and tomorrow will start the process again. If you have never tried the detox tea and the process involved with it you cannot rate it. I was waiting out in my car for an hour and saw 12 people go in and come out with the tea and when I went to get my tea, there was 10 more jugs waiting to get picked up. When I went there back in January, witnessed the same amount of people coming out with jugs and same amount made up inside. Leads me to believe the detox tea is not a joke....it is for real when you follow the plan. Highly recommend to check it out and give the process a chance...you meant be surprised like I was. IT WORKS!

It is way cheaper to go to the gym and cut out junk food, than to buy the homemade oriental tea that this guy sells for $125. The jug of brown detox tea comes in a gallon milk container and is labeled with a envelope sticker. Other than the two reviews listed that are a joke, this guy only has two pictures of his "clients" that supposedly lost hundreds or 60lbs. Save your money and go to a nutritionist that is covered by your insurance.

Listen people and let me explain something. First of all...it works, there's no gimics and no shortcuts. If you follow his meal plan your gonna lose the weight just by doing your everyday activities. So if you want to change your life..this can be that for you...it was for me.

It's the best I've been dealing with the herbal doctor for over 4 years now and if you discipline yourself it will definitely work it is a excellent detox and you have to get used to maybe the smell and taste but it's worth it all. This is my husbands 2nd week and he has lost 15 lbs. Energy increasing and he has cut his insulin in half. BP is doing good. Dr Zhou is very knowledgeable and has your best interest at heart.
