For me, community acupuncture has become a self-love ritual over the years. It helps me manage everything from recurring back pain, to stress and anxiety, to somatic symptoms of unresolved trauma.

It’s a blessing to have Dr. Rona here in Pembroke Pines offering this incredible healing modality to our community.

Dr. Rona has a remarkable capacity to hold a safe space for others through her practice. Her empathetic approach to listening to client’s symptoms and stories and caring deeply makes me feel seen when I come in for my treatments. I brought my partner too and he felt the same.

In December 2023, after 5 years of leading a nomadic lifestyle, I returned to Florida with very aggravated lower back. Dr. Rona was literally the first person I saw the day I arrived to town. She worked with me over the course of 6 weeks to help me alleviate my chronic back pain and begin to feel energized and thriving again.

I’ve been coming here for weekly treatments when I lived in the area and now make the trek from West Palm every few weeks to maintain.

It’s been 3 months and my pain hasn’t returned (with somatic exercises and fascia stretching I continue doing at home).

I wish I could still come every week. In my mid 30s now, acupuncture has become my go-to method to improve my overall wellbeing and maintain my health (with the goal to age gracefully!)

It always feel like such a treat to get my acupuncture with Dr. Rona. She is incredible, patient, kind and thoughtful.

I’ve been to probably 20 different “community-format” acupuncture clinics all over the US, including the original concept in Portland, and feel that we are honestly so lucky to have a healer like Dr. Rona in South Florida.

I have been a client with Rona at Our Community Acupuncture for the last three months and I highly recommend her services.
