Professors Italo and Thamires have created such a wonderful training environment that’s exceptionally welcoming and and highly technical. If you live in the area, you should train here. I am new to the Bentonville area, so I knew immediately I needed to find a new place to train! (I am a blue belt from a previous academy out of Las Vegas)

I texted the phone number listed on Overcome's website on a Sunday and almost immediately received a response welcoming me to trial their gym. I found that very professional and reassuring.

Upon entering the gym, I was kindly greeted by Patti at the front desk and noticed the gym was extremely well organized and clean! This is always something I pay attention to because nobody wants to get sick.

Afterwards, Patti introduced me to head instructor, Italo, who is a really, really nice guy. I explained to him that it had been a long time since I had trained and he was more than understanding and chill. I ended up reviewing technique with the whitebelts since I hadn't trained in years, then got some hard rolls in! Their whitebelts are tough! And I'm no wuss!

Overall, if you're in the area or looking for a new place to join, I would highly recommend visiting this place and at least considering. The vibes there are very positive and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming! Oh and you'll definitely get your workout in!

You can't get a better BJJ experience at overcome. Italo and Thamires are excellent world class instructors. You will develop the highest quality jiujitsu at overcome, with a strong understanding of the fundamentals and beyond. The vibe of the environment is only positive. I highly recommend overcome BJJ if you're new or experienced.

This is a great place to train as there are no ego’s in this gym. Everyone is there to not only learn BJJ but to help each other learn as well. Coach Italo goes out of his way to make sure each student understands what is being taught. He not only explains each step in great detail, but he gives each student the individual one on one time needed to perfect each skill. Whether you already have some training under your belt or if it is your first class ever, you will definitely feel comfortable and enjoy your time at Overcome.

Hands down the best BJJ school in Northwest Arkansas and maybe beyond. This school has had a tremendous impact on my son’s (9) life and many other kids. You see it not only in the day to day, but when the team goes to tournaments, these kids dominate! Absolutely fantastic family atmosphere!
